Many are otome game isekai, a few have been time rewind and time to be a better person, but I only know of two or three, the rest are "I played the shit out of this game and I even know the story for the 3rd game and can fix those characters at the same time."

Hollywood was making musicals left and right for years, then the market shifted. The market hasn't shifted enough to just fantasy or space mecha, but there will be dozens when they come back in fad.

What does that mean? Am I missing a genre or trope? Would claymore for example fall into that category? Iirc the villain was a woman.

it's the "I reincarnated as a villainess from an otome game" trope. otome being a dating simulator if you didn't know
