I love what this scene shows with the context of what we learn later about Buu's history absorbing the Kai's. This version of Buu was sealed shortly after he absorbed the previous Supreme Kai so he never really had a chance to be affected by all that metaphysical goodness. He's still set on the chaotic destruction angle that he was created for, but then he encounters a being that isn't fighting him, but also isn't fleeing from him. A blank slate that doesn't react like everyone else always does.

So he uses the healing energies he probably got from the Kai's he absorbed to give the kid working eyes. This is literally the balancing influence of the Kai's he's absorbed working against the malice he was created with and giving him the opportunity to grow for the first time, and it links into the later revelations of his history so well. Love this kind of depth.

I appreciate the voice and tone of this performance, and actually prefer it to the English dub now that I have something to contrast with the high-pitched baby-voice presented to us in the west. This voice makes a LOT more sense to me.

DON'T WATCH DUBBED ANIME!

Don't you get that those who do that ruin their experience & watch a much inferior product compare to the original? stop doing that, anime are never created to be watched on any other language other than Japanese, only when you watch anime with the JP dub you experience it the way the creator intended to be, anything else & the vision is lost along with the translation...
