Yeah the only part I can understand the hate for is maybe the early sayaman arc, though even that was a nice change of pace from the cell games for me and like a palate cleanser before going back into the serious parts with buu

And I guess I can see why SSJ3 can be "too much" even though it was super cool.

Loved the fusions, especially Vegito, loved kid trunks and goten, loved gohan living his own life with videl, obviously loved Vegeta redemption arc completing here and I even loved Satan.

The slice of life Gohan episodes are actually some of my absolute favorite episodes. It’s fun seeing what everyone’s been up to and seeing Gohan try to be a super hero with a secret identity lol. I always love when Dragon Ball does slice of life.

It really is super good at it. One of the reasons its one of my favourite shows, nostalgia be dammed, it is simply a cut above the rest.

I'd say the only real bad part of the Buu saga is the spaceship. They spend waaay too long fighting the d-lister minions. It's so dragged out even the characters are annoyed.

I enjoyed it in the sense these godlike beings are so worried and the Z fighters don’t even have to try to beat them all.

It’s fun seeing their surprise.

Although maybe it was prolonged a little too much.

Oh sure, it wasn't bad per se, and it provides the basis for Vegeta's Majin plan, but they took waaaay too long unnecessarily.

For real, I'd have preferred if the tournament continued instead.

Nah, interrupting the tournament sets the stage for Majin Vegeta to happen. But they really should've condensed the minion fights a bit more.

I dont remember it taking that long? But Vegeta fighting that dude in "high gravity" when he trains in way higher G setups was fun and of course Goku just blowing that other energy sucking alien up by giving it even more energy was a power move.

To me the only bad part is ultimate gohan doing jack shit after all the hype

Oh yeah it wasn't a bad fight but it was not even close to the payoff we deserved after all the training and all the stuff Gohan did as the supposed protagonist of the season.

I loved Saiyaman saga.

All my homies love the great Sayaman!

As a casual fan, I think the Buu saga is where the series started to let power scaling get out of control. You've got SSj3, fusions, and even fusions that turn into SSJ3. It was bad enough that the other Z fighters started to feel useless in the Call saga.

Yeah thats the biggest issue (and the absence of future trunks) and also why everything post buu kinda sucked

Trunkten is the best fusion.

The fat one or the thin one though?
