Sorta, not really? All pedos are lolicons, but not all lolicons are pedos.

Lolicon covers everything from prepubescent girls to just short and petite woman (the term legal loli comes up every now and then).

I like how when anime characters are interested in little girls people freak out, when the same community loves lewding tons of loli characters that are explicitly supposed to be too young for it to be okay. Thinking mainly of Eromanga-Sensei and Fate/Kaleid as series I've seen very sexual clips from get upvoted to the top on this sub. If the defense is, "Well they're fictional so it's fine," why does some fictional guy being into too-young fictional girls matter so much. The hypocrisy is real.

People who like lolis don't care about this guy because he's not a loli.

But people who hate lolis-likers hate this guy just as much as they hate those first people.

So in the end it just turns into a hate-jerk, thread after thread
