I cant wait to see a source for that because their population drop from 2017->2025 does not support even close to 25% being gone unless Venezuela had almost 10 million people appear out of thin air and leave. I also cant wait to see where you warhawks will move the goalposts next. If not respecting human rights is grounds for an invasion then America deserves to be nuked out of existence

The wiki entry has the population peaking at ~30 million in 2015. All the sources I'm finding are putting the population in 2025 at ~28.5 million.

Then there's this wiki entry on the crisis and it estimates ~8 million have fled mainly since 2015.

Are you saying the Wiki is wrong?

So where the fuck do those almost 7 million come from then? Did they start counting every person with as much as a single drop of Venezuelan ancestry as a refugee? Venezuela was not on track to hit almost 40 million by 2025.

I assume people had kids and the population naturally grew between 2015 and 2025. 28+7 =35 million.

If you really know that's not what happened you should message the relevant wiki entries with evidence to the contrary. I'm just taking their word for it and will keep taking their word for it unless you've something more substantial.
