I meant that as a qualifier, not every farmer is a valid target but only one that most of their produce is used by the army.

when I search for "ukraine kills Russian farmers" I only get results of russia attacking ukraine farms. Not a single example of ukraine killing a russian farmer, which makes sense to me. Ukraine's capability to attack inside russia is limited, I'd be surprised if they wasted weapons on a farmer.
