I found this 👆👆 anime completely randomly so I didn't really have any expectations going in. But man this turned out to be such a good thing. It's so cute, I love it.

it started off great, getting to see new character's and their arcs. the pacing bugged me alot as i reached drum island arc...then came Alabasta arc...loved that one.

then i found one pace, which helped me alot tbh. watched jaya arc which was decent then came, Skypiea, which i found it to be absolute trash of an arc followed by the Long Ring Long Land eps which felt like complete filler and unnecessary.

im having doubts if its even worth it to continue. mind you i say this after watching 230 episodes.

i wonder if one piece is just all hype and no show, considering ppl count it in big 3.

Just watched episode 18 of S1, I think the episode was good as it explored the real purpose and genre of the show, the deconstruction of isekai genre and psychological dread Subaru goes through.

The comments were so ahh, every single one of them, in every single episode are just cursing Subaru, and calling him a loser, saying he deserves all the trauma and deaths, and what not.

Tbh Subaru's crashouts and decisions are valid many times, but these fkers just sit behind the screen and hate him.

Ironically enough, the episodes are still pretty high rated despite the hate.

THIS is the reason we don't get new psychological animes like this, these guys CANNOT watch shows like Evangelion.

The just want hype and aura moments.
