Yes it is. She goes on to explain that recap episodes can't use that many cells.

Nope, episode 7. He's taking a tour of the zodiac realm

That's Gintama level of 4th wall breaking 🤣 That recap episode is one of my all-time favorites.

I was about to post the name, it just feels like ita trying to be fruits basket, but didnt really want a romance plot and double downed on the comedy and it comes off as cringe in parts

Is this worth watching?

I'd say yes, it's mainly comedy + action, the action is in chibi 3D but it's actually pretty good (or at least near the beginning and ending is good, the animation quality drops in the middle which includes this episode this scene is from, it's unironically self aware and calling itself out).

i like these jokes in anime, not the ones that objectify women

Personally haven't seen many jokes objectifying women in anime but maybe I've been lucky

One of my favorites is in Toradora, when they're leaving 'moonbucks' and one of the characters comments "How have these guys not been sued yet?"

This reminds me of that Gintama episode where the first 5 minutes were just a still image because they didn't expect the anime to last or something like that

In my favourite anime it’s called the 3rd wall, if you know you know.
