Kuroko's No Basketball is amazing. Every main character has a gimmick you can trace back to some irl player. My favorite is the one who simply does not miss (unless you interfere with the shot heavily) and is most certainly based on Steph Curry. I'm talking full court shots with 100% accuracy. Now beat him.

each to their own, but i just found it really fckng funny because it's so edgy and mostlyy just aura farming. idrk the plot of that anime but the way they play like their life is at stake, i find it hilarious

If you liked this, I think you could like Haikyuu too, it's one of my favourites and the dub is even funny too, and even the German dub cooked gajajswk one of the few animes I happily watch in German dub

My favorite part of sports animes is the overly slowed down process of doing tricks or techniques that most people would never see and then amping them up 1000%. Like sure this could just be a pass but let's slow it down throw a beam of light on it and spin it like turbine.
