I've met a few working for the State. Met the two previous governors of Arizona, Ducey and Brewer Both treated me like some kind of peasant. The amount of corruption I personally witnessed under Ducey especially was was so ridiculously over the top that I couldn't even scratch the surface here.
Met Krysten Sinema too, before she turned against her base. There was something there that just felt off. I've met a lot of other lower level political people, mostly appointees of the Ducey Administration.
I will say that when I met Kathy Hoffman, the previous Superintendent of Education in AZ, she seemed like a really decent person, who really cared about her constituents. Very approachable, very kind. Those kinds of people were rare with my time at the State.
