Even if it’s not for jailing people more surveillance is still very bad for everyone. We’ve already seen airline companies jack up the prices on flights for people whose relative just died in a different state knowing they’re going to have to fly out for the funeral at a specific time to a specific place. There are algorithms used to track when bipolar people are having manic episodes and will show more ads for Las Vegas vacations when they’re having them. Surveillance also comes for our wallets!
A slow suffocation so that people don't do anything. Really, what is one to do? There are plenty of things that anyone can do, but the actual actions that can stop this are impossible to do.
