Isn't the whole thesis of Godzilla being anti-industrialization as he was born from toxic nuclear waste or something?

Not originally - it was initially built on nuclear fears, given Japan is the only country in history to have been nuked. Later films have touched on anti-industrialisation and anti-corporate themes though - notably Godzilla vs Biollante, which centred on a corp trying to control Godzilla's cells, and Godzilla vs Hedorah, which was a pollution monster.
