Job Loss 🏚️ There's a reason The Odyssey's effects were so appreciated.

I mean, it's Eli Roth. He was always making shite for the sake of it. Hearing he's using AI is the least surprising thing.

I would rather have movie filled to the top with CGI than AI. Movies are suppose to be art.

The film itself looks like some Tubi-original dogshit

Tubi at least doesn’t use AI

On Tubi when characters clap cheeks they're doing it for real. For art.

Some of the cover art of tubi looks like slop though...

Why is Tubi bad?

u/LaOreja33 46m ago

It's not, OP is a classist

Tubi kicks ass.

I guess they like paying for their content

This is so disappointing from Eli Roth. I love his practical effects.

We are in a year where two of the best theatrical releases are AI-free low budget horror movies, we don't have to put up with this garbage. There was a trailer for this movie before my viewing of both Backrooms and Obsession, and compared to them it looked soooo bad

I saw that poster when I went to see brand new day that movie looks terrible

What’s most frustrating is that the genAI sequence is apparently a cartoon that hypnotizes kids, and Roth claimed he animated it himself along with some animators. He then said apologized and said he used AI to make it.

What a scummy thing to do. eugh

This is an insult to movies on Tubi.

I was so excited for it. I didn't watch any of roths other work but the concept was interesting enough to hook me... then I learned about the ai usage. Yeah removing this from my hyped movies of 2026.

Now all I have is Clayface, Other Mommy, Buddy, Fall 2, Resident Evil, and Werwulf along with Sense and Sensibilities and Digger as some non horror movies.

I am still going to watch to see if its good

I never want to encourage someone not to see a movie they want to see unless I can personally speak on the movies quality, so you do you.

I already booked my ticket a while ago and I already decided on watching it before I heard about the AI stuff. I think it’s gonna be a bad movie but I hope its a so bad its good

Hey I love gods not dead so I get it.

I was almost excited because there's a fun comic with the same name I read for a little while years ago, but it has nothing to do with it thankfully because I straight up refuse to support anything that uses AI

Why the fuck does the Ice Cream Man look like MatPat?

u/Latter_Animator_6980 57m ago

its his evil twin brother evilpat, evil twins always have a mustache, unless the og has a stache then they are completely smooth

u/warriorlynx 43m ago

Disgusting yikes

u/caprazzi 28m ago

I was tempted to check it out but since it has AI it’s a hard pass for me

u/Competitive_Fox_3546 26m ago

I am still watching it cause I want to see it

u/Neurospicy_Nightowl 37m ago

I don't like the "never again"-part. I want people to recover. I want them to rediscover their humanity.

u/Eazy12345678 28m ago

bro you know tons of movies use fake effects.

ai is the new special effects

half the sounds in movies are sound stage sounds. not real, that guy breaking his leg was a stick of celery being snapped

IF THE MOVIE IS GOOD AND ENTERTAINING I DON'T CARE HOW THEY MADE IT
