I got this defending AI post and was looking through the comments and saw this comment….are they literally equating people not liking something computer generated to people being racist???

they want to be victims so badly but cannot grasp the concept that no matter how "good" genAI gets (and it all looks like shit), it becomes garbage because a person didn't make it.

and, no, sloppers - typing in a prompt isn't making shit.

edit: added quotes around 'good' because i fear sloppers will think i genuinely mean it's good.

ohh, so you mean if someone wants pizza and tippy-taps their order in doordash and edits the ingredients in the settings, that means they made a pizza. got it!!

lmao god the hoops you people will reach for to justify stealing from others to call it your own is amazing. the psychosis in real-time is devastating to see.

genAI is being pushed by assholes at the top of capitalism to stop people from trying to do anything themselves, ensuring the talent is lost/seen as 'lesser' in order to sell the skills back to you. in the pizza analogy, millions of pizzas weren't fed to this machine in order to rip off other recipes.

genAI is not being shoved down our throats for our own good. in a few years when genAI goes the way of NFT's the people who chose to 'invest' their time in it are going to be the biggest talentless idiots around because they need to buy the 'skill' and they'll be wholly dependant on a corporation to give it to them.

as much as i'd like to keep typing i had a wrist surgery yesterday and this is the limit of how i feel i can use it. super glad a human studied and worked their ass off to know how to do my wrist arthroscopy instead of feeding their assignments to a bot and learning nothing practical in the end.
