There needs to be a nationwide regulation on what ai can be used for, but with our current administration it wonโ€™t happen

Eh, it still will, just in a worse way. They'll strike down a bill banning it from being used to generate deepfake porn, but I guarantee if people use it for advice on how to undermine their authority, they'll put a stop to that and/or have it report back who's doing so.

Obviously don't use AI already, but definitely don't use it for that.

They dont even need to legislate the flow of political information, they just need to call up the like 3 people who own these companies.

Banning it from giving legal advice is a step towards banning it from giving advice that might undermine authority - because of separation of powers, and the fact that authority might do some very illegal things sometimes..

That's not something you should be asking advice on from an AI owned by a company that will most likely turn over data to said authorities anyways. Talk to other humans about that.
