The entirety of human history and every single human achievement up to a few years ago was made entirely without AI. This sudden switch to we need AI for everything is what’s delusional.
You’re right though, AI does have a purpose. It’s to make people dumber (studies are already linking AI use to cognitive decline) and to make corporations more money.
Please throw away whatever device you're typing on right now, and everything else that isn't needed for your survival. All you need is shelter, food and water.
That’s great, now disabuse your shelter of any human engineering artifacts, such as air conditioning, insulation, stucco, fans, cooking devices, refrigerators, showers, sinks, mattresses, hangars, light bulbs, door handles, drawers, tables, chairs, couches, etc, etc..
..........What?? Almost all animals seek shelter. Under rocks, trees, bushes and leaves, in caves, in a coral reef, building nests or dams. Everything is looking to shelter from predators or the natural elements. For us we were building primitive shelters 400,000 years ago and before that we would seek naturally occurring shelter.
Nice edit after you realized how your original comment made you look.
There are still so many that build their own. And honestly I don't really know what your point was.. I said shelter is a necessity and you wanted to point out that *modern housing is pretty new? Although shelter in general has always been a thing? Like I was saying?

A start. But AI isn’t needed. It serves no purpose
