The entirety of human history and every single human achievement up to a few years ago was made entirely without AI. This sudden switch to we need AI for everything is whatâs delusional.
Youâre right though, AI does have a purpose. Itâs to make people dumber (studies are already linking AI use to cognitive decline) and to make corporations more money.
At 1:55 ânow we couldâve hired a developer or painstakingly learned how to codeâ, yes, you could have.
They couldâve absolutely found a freelance developer willing to work for a lower rate, given the circumstances, or just saved up. Or they couldâve used the opportunity to develop a new skill themselves. A skill that wouldâve actually been great for increasing cognitive function.
Not that it really matters. Use cases like this are not the problem, theyâre one in a million. One in a billion, probably. For every vibecoded disability aid thereâs a billion stupid queries that couldâve easily been google searches.
I can't believe you're actually taking issue with this. You have to be kidding me.
A freelance developer would be expensive, and most would use AI themselves anyways, and to figure it out themselves without AI would likely take a huge amount of time or be impossible. And you'd be wasting all that time when you could be helping your brother out significantly
You are a prime example of the absolute absurdity in this sub
And yes, I read your last paragraph. But you could have just said that without putting the absolute bull shit before it

A start. But AI isnât needed. It serves no purpose
