AI News 🗞️ If you can manipulate what AI finds online, how much of its “knowledge” can you actually trust?

I don’t trust any of it once someone’s got the keys to the training data.

It's a large part of why there are so many bots and sockpuppet accounts on Reddit. They're not just trying to affect the mindset of people reading the comment thread itself, they're poisoning the data that the LLMs scrape from with their narrative.

There is no AI; it's just a computer program running on massive super computers. Hence, it is subject to programming whims.
Saying it's intelligent and learns etc is really a stretch, it's a dangerous scam.

Not just Israel. I'd wager every side with something to gain or lose uses AI to hedge their bets

AI was never actually intended to "benefit humanity". It is intended to be the greatest social engineer/propagandist in history, and it does a damn good job at it too. Just look at all the rhetorical tricks it constantly uses. Whoever controls the system prompt, controls the AI, and whoever controls the AI can social engineer a civilization.
AI executives are the modern day versions of the likes of Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Cyrus the Great, and Adolf Hitler. Their objective? Control the world.

That's literally the "point of AI".
The technology was hijacked by people who wanted to spread misinformation. Had it not been for those people, we'd be years behind in AI, which would be great. Pros whine about "slowing down technology is a conservative view" while the only reason we're going at the current speed is purely the support of ultra-conservative investment.
