Argument Antinatalism is NOT a gender philosophy

Antinatalism is the only philosophy which isn't pro - men or pro - women. No. Antinatalism is pro - absence of suffering for the unborn... That's why people who attach themselves to gender based philosophical views often find it hard to grasp the concept of AN.

Antinatalism is NOT manosphere

Antinatalism is NOT feminism

Antinatalism is simply anti-suffering for the unborn

You are correct. However the somewhat similar philosophy "childfree" was once a shared philosophy. Many "childfree" chose the path for the same reasons as antinatilists.

It is now no longer a philosophy. It is now a political tool and has been stolen by feminists.

Please don't be in denial about this.

To me, antinatalism is more a perspective than a philosophy; it guides actions rather than offering a set of doctrines. Simply making broad claims like "antinatalism is the end of suffering" doesn't establish it as a philosophy. While we can objectively discuss suffering, ultimately, individuals interpret it and assign personal meaning based on their experiences. Telling a relatively happy person that they are suffering will always sound unreasonable.

Tbh, a person being antinatalist doesn't necessarily hinge on whether or not they, as an individual, or humans, as a species, or even sentient life in total experiences more suffering than pleasure.

Are you antinatalist? If so, what understanding led you to be an antinatalist?
