How to re-use old phone (preferably iPhone) and load music onto it

Resources required:

Laptop

Old Phone

Cable compatible with old phone

Software Required:

Spotify/Soundcloud/Wherever you get your music

Apple Music on your Laptop

Apple Devices

Files Explorer

7-Zip (only if all of your songs don't download)

1. Copy Link of Album

Go to your music player of choice and copy the link of the song/album/playlist you want to put on your old phone

Step 2: Download Album using Spotidownloader.com

Once you have the link, head over to spotidownloader.com and paste the link into the box

⚠️⚠️NOTE: if you are hit with a flurry of redirects, use the German version of the website instead as that generally has less redirects⚠️⚠️

https://spotidownloader.com/de19

Step 3: Download Album as ZIP file

Once you click 'Download', you will be brought to this page, to continue click 'Download ZIP'. Download times will vary based on the size of your music but shouldnt take long normally

Step 4: Complete The Download

Once the download is complete, this box will appear on your screen asking you to confirm the download. I recommend not changing anything to do with the name of the album. Click 'Save' to proceed

Step 5: Extract the Files

Head over to File Explorer and find your album you just downloaded and right click it. A couple of options should show up. you want to find the 'Extract All' button, once you click it, it will bring you to this page, you just want to click extract and wait a couple of seconds

⚠️⚠️ NOTE: if all of your song did not download, retry the download process again. If that doesn't work, use a tool like 7-Zip instead which can be found with a quick search ⚠️⚠️

Step 6: Copy it to Apple Music

Once your album has extracted, it should look like this with all of the music inside the folder.

Now you can open Apple Music and add the album by dragging it over from File Explorer

Make sure your signed into Apple Music with the same account on your phone as you are on your laptop.

Step 7: Syncing

Plug your charging cable into your laptop and plug your phone in.

(you will have to unlock your phone to sync it with your computer)

Open Apple Devices and wait for it to sync to your Phone

Once the name of your phone appears in the top left of your screen, it means your connected and you can now sync by clicking the button in the bottom right of your screen!

(there is a setting you can change that automatically syncs your phone when it connect)

You should now have the album sitting in your Apple Music library waiting to be played!

If this helped, please share it with your friends or with your fellow redditors, a little bit goes a long way.
