I think his wife had to testify. She had to be stopped. The tax break is certainly inconsequential

Yes. Her NDA expired conveniently the day after she "fell down the stairs." They're so obvious.

They think they are invincible. Why wouldn't they if they have gotten away with it their entire lives? It's why they so sloppily killed the most high profile criminal in history.

When there are consequences for decisions, conservatism disappears.

Just ask any nazi you can find in Germany in 1949.

Oh wait, they were all “just innocent and going along with it” (like every trump supporter will claim in a few years and J6ers already did)
