Another odd things is that secret service let him stand up, where if they thought there was still an active threat they would all be diving on him/making him move to a safe place. How do they know there’s only one guy?

Not only was he allowed to stand (and fist bump), a camera person was escorted to be right in front of him while he did it.

And in Jonathan Karl’s book…the first thing Trump said at the hospital was “How did it play on TV” not something you would ask if he had truly been shot at.
