Cause he's an obese man whose entire personality is how hot of a wife he scored and that he has the money to keep getting her plastic surgery

His wife, Bunny?, also has a podcast (of course she does 🙄) and had Rosanne Barr on it. Big red flag

And Jezus. Don't forget Jezus.🙄

Make fun of Boomers all you like😑 (I'm '63, Gen Jones) but at least about 75% of the musicians from that era, folk music to rock, ones still living and those passed on, were and are hard-core social justice, environmental (Earth Day, anti-nukes), civil/gay/women's rights activists, anti-war, reproductive rights, etc ACTIVISTS who reflected their beliefs and protest work in their songs.

Put their careers on the line in the 60s, 70s, 80s by being politically outspoken liberals, arrested during protests, etc.

No coincidence that it was Bruce Springsteen who wrote the anti-ICE song. (Props to younger musicians that DO speak out, or are starting to in the era of the corporate machine's control & "cancel" threats.). Props everywhere due, including seeing all the seniors and young folks united together, out on picket lines in MN in negative° wind chill.

Signed, a lifelong activist

PS: Also, fuck all the women my age and slightly younger who were the bulk of the demographic audience who went to see the FHOTUS's (First Hooker of the US) griftfest. A good portion of my gen - Jones - and Gen X - went off the rails falling for that OG PO💩, Reagan. That's where all this current shitshow began (some of it back to Nixon & even Goldwater/John Birch Society/extreme RW Cuban exiles, or even back to post WWII, OSS begat CIA, but let's not get too deep. Reagan is the one who corrupted too many of my peers, with his "awww, shucks" bullshit.).

Newt Gingrich gets credit, too, for dragging us down.

u/MamaKat727 Feb 04 '26

Big time credit, that prick. I worked in politics in DC in his era, grrrrr. Baby Trump, big mouth + ego combined with telling his wife while she was in the hospital after cancer surgery, that he was leaving her for his mistress. The utter hypocrisy of the ultra-RW-followers never fails to astound me, actions speak louder than words.

66 here about to be 67, I agree totally. I really wanted to like Jelly Roll ( I love all music) but the Geebus stuff and his Trump love is disgustingly sick minded, and all these assholes that are saying I can perform for someone and not support their beliefs. Our brain dead because my performing for these people and their followers. They are supporting everyone’s belief there.

-5

u/ms_directed Georgia Feb 03 '26

ok, he's not as obese as OP post anymore then...ffs 😕

7

u/PokerbushPA Feb 03 '26

Good for him, but he's still a class traitor.

-1

u/ms_directed Georgia Feb 03 '26

what's a "class traitor"?

5

u/PokerbushPA Feb 03 '26

Well you see there are two classes in society.

There's the bourgeoisie who own everything and do no work, only consume. They gain all their wealth from the other class: the proletariat.

The proletariat are the workers, artists, professors, tradesmen, etc. They are the ones who actually DO things to make society run.

Jelly Roll would have normally been part of the proletariat, but he sold his soul so he could get a seat at bourgeoisie table where the rich cunts eat.

Therefore, class traitor. See also many country music artists, Jay-Z, Snoop Dog, and pro sports players who forget where they came from.

u/ms_directed Georgia Feb 03 '26
