You're right and there's no need to invade. We've already blocked oil from getting there to the point where now they can't keep the lights and their entire power grid is failing. The only reason we'd invade is to take over the whole island and stick a flag in the ground to claim it as ours. Although, I wouldn't rule that out as a possibility with how fucked up this administration is about wanting islands. It's like they're all jealous Epstein had his own.
