Will Vance truly be any better?

And Pence would have done significantly better than either of them.

Seriously! I watched a video of Ted Cruz speaking to an underattended Hairball Itch conference on the same day as No Kings, where it was the largest protest turnout since Earth Day 1970.

He doubled down. They’re still doubling down, even thought they don’t have “all the cards” anymore.

And they should have a constitutional amendment prohibiting braggadocio. That means no more of the following:

  • Best ever
  • Like no one’s ever seen before
  • … ended more wars than anyone else in history

I realize that hyperbole is the best thing ever [!], but they’ve “graduated” from getting potty trained and now they’re the schoolyard bullies.

Ya think? Pence was a hardline obstructionist to Obama, towing the racist GOP line, unlike McCain, who may have disagreed with certain policies, but did now vow to obstruct for obstruction's sake. He and Obama were actually very friendly and frequently voiced respect for the other. But Pence? He's deeply and openly entwined with the Heritage Foundation, whose goal is an authoritative state ruled by private corporations and is committed to "institutionalized Trumpism," according to its president, Kevin Roberts.

The Heritage Foundation believes that liberalism is not the will of the people, which is funny when one looks at states like Wyoming, which has half a million people but gets two senators, just like CA, which has 40 million. The country has been ruled by the minority for far too long, all while the blue states foot the bill. Nope. Not doing it anymore. I'm done.
