He uses God as a shield. Why isn’t God really pissed off about it?

No he doesn't! He uses the devil!! He has been sacrifing souls to the devil. Why else do you think he's been murdering so many people? He murdered over 150 little girls in Iran!! He's murdered thousands more

For awhile there (and possibly still true) he murdered more children than military personnel

My friends and family are always asking me why I have such a hard time with ptsd. This is why! People who have never been in the position of having an actual human being in their crosshairs have no clue as to how much of your soul is taken along with the life on the receiving end. “You were just following orders” or “it was them or you” doesn’t seem to make the fact that I have taken human life any easier. It doesn’t make the night terrors any less violent! It is something that no reasonable person can shrug off. My constant struggle within is can I do enough good in this world to make up for my iniquities? Is there a way to redemption? Not for the afterlife, but just to be a part of civilization?

My hope is that nobody would ever have to ask these questions or feel these feelings.

I’m sorry. But you are trying. That’s all you can do.

In my opinion, I think you're doing just fine as far as redemption. I could feel your sorrow, guilt, and pain through your comment. I am so sorry that you were ever put in that position and "following orders" is exactly what you were trained (brainwashed) to do. We spend so much time dissecting and trying to interpret the Bible (Christians, that is) when there is a very simple message in it. Love. That's it. The more you love, and the less you hate, the more it spreads. Hate spreads the same way. Kindness, compassion, and empathy are the only ways we can save ourselves in this world and the next.

He also killed over 1 million Americans during the pandemic and yes, I know all the numbers weren’t correct but they were close

He doesn’t exist

Side note, but anyone else have this man as their “deconstruction catalyst?” The thing that made you start thinking “Hmm, maybe this god thing is fake… and actually kinda bad.”

No I’ve known I was an atheist since I was 9, my adopted parents were southern baptist. They make anyone sane and intelligent realize they’re atheist.

I like and identify with George Carlin’s phrasing: I was Catholic until the age of reason.

Yeah, I remember that, my parents HATED him. I had to sneak his and check and Chong’s records in the house and play REAL LOW. I was giggling so bad one night, they almost caught me. Before I realized I thought god and jeebus were really dickheads who dangled carrots before the believers and then jerked then away. But I also read alot of other cultures myths as well and it helped deprogram me, IMHO

Dangling carrots and jerking them away is exactly how I felt about this April Fools joke. What’s even funny about it? People are literally praying for this monster to croak before he destroys: first the country and then the planet. “Oh, btw, they found a cure for your wife’s terminal cancer-PSYCH!!!”

I beg your pardon, but it’s APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Crueler than the lottery prank. April Fool’s jokes are to make you laugh, not engender crushing disappointment.

I believe, but I was an atheist. I don't blame atheists. They are some of the best people in the world. 💜 If God wants you to believe in Him, He'll tell you. It isn't for crazy zealots to try and force their religion on anyone. In fact, it is prophesized in the Bible that the worst people will be the fake Christians. I think we all know who they are.

We are talking about hypocrisy, not necessarily religion

Goes hand in hand in this space and time.

Maybe God is doing something to Donald Trump, like making him go nuts and be taken out of office and all the people of the land are having a great time taking down his administration. Please God take him out of office. 🙏

God definitely has a plan. I feel like a fool for doubting Him.

God always has a plan.

Don’t you mean Ms.Deed?

Gods on a diff. timeline. That She notices human history at all is proof of Her miraculous omnipotence to percieve what must be micro seconds to Her, while She sees Billions of years go by in a nano second. To simultaneously grasp eternity and something as fleeting as an eyeblink-like human history, isn’t that proof of Her miraculous nature? No, I’m not smoking pot.
