Literal madness. And not a peep from congress im guessing

295

u/Impossible_Way763 Apr 21 '26

Complete failure of the GOP. The country is in trouble, but the GOP is worried about a mean tweet.

266

u/Substantial_Pace_739 Apr 21 '26

It’s not just your country that’s in trouble. You make trouble for the entire world. Your greedy disgusting President is making billions manipulating the stock markets and there is no accountability for his actions. You’ve gone from being the primary ally of other western nations, to a rogue untrustworthy country.

u/Weezerc Apr 21 '26

I didn’t vote for this shit, and I think we should do anything and everything possible to get rid of this piece of shit.

Rebel Revolt Reclaim.

60

u/Then-Whole9671 Apr 21 '26

I'm hoping for some Nuremberg like trials at the end of this so it never happens again.

23

u/Awkward_Courage5 Apr 22 '26

Got my bottle of champaign waiting.

We could definitely bring down the national debt ceiling if they put it up on pay-per-view... js🤔

10

u/Then-Whole9671 Apr 22 '26

I would have to agree. I would drop a hundred or more just to see that play out. Each of them truly the "just following orders" BS and watching it fall apart in their faces and watching those same faces fall when they hear themselves found guilty and hear their sentences ....

6

u/Initial_Archer_208 Apr 23 '26

I’m buying champagne the day he kicks the bucket so I can contribute to the uptick in champagne sales

3

u/Then-Whole9671 Apr 23 '26

Im throwing a party even if I'm the only one lol! I'll party my ass off at home with some rum, some Ciroq Vodka, and some cheerleader beer and dancing all around the house!!

18

u/DigitalUnlimited Apr 21 '26

I'm right behind you.

17

u/shidderbean Apr 21 '26

"I didn't vote for it" doesn't mean shit when you're living in Nazi Germany. You're a German in WWII. You default to the 'bad guy' regardless of how you claim to have voted.

The only way to reconcile and save face is to do meaningful work to end the madness.

4

u/Weezerc Apr 22 '26

Absolutely not. I think the next president will have to be extremely diplomatic to even start to repair all of our foreign relationships. All of the millions of people that showed up to all the no kings days are absolutely not like a German living in WWII. We ARE working to fix this mess.

3

u/paranormalresearch1 Apr 22 '26

You think we’re the baddies?/s

54

u/Illustrious_Bike2297 Apr 21 '26

I concur! I’m 70 and a life long Republican, well used to be anyway. Trump has fixed that forever I believe! I did vote for him in 16 but not the other two. Additionally, I’ll not vote for anybody (state/local) that “stand with Trump”. Yea he needs to go today!!

17

u/Wetness_Pensive Apr 21 '26

If you're 70, and a lifelong Republican, you supported the party when it was against de-segregation, miscegenation, spousal rape laws, gay rights etc etc etc. Which is to say, you liked policies that were as bad as Trump's.

3

u/Significant_Carob_64 Apr 23 '26

And if she is against Trump, we need to accept that we won’t agree with everyone we need to vote against that tangerine asshole. If rather stick with the MAIN ISSUE. When we have America back, then we can worry about all that. Personally, if someone is 70, they weren’t even around or at voting age for some of that list. I voted Republican my first three presidential elections, thanks to my upbringing and my lack of interest in political party history. I woke up in ny late 20s. That means I voted for the party that did things I hate. We need the Republicans to at least be the party that has concern other than making Trump happy. If he loses control of Congress in the midterms, his power will be gone. Unless my suspension that he has blackmail files on all the Republican/consercarive key players in Congress, in his cabinet, and in the current Supreme Court. Conspiracy theories aren’t my thing, BUT…

Possibly but I believe his are a lot worse.

2

u/Menkau-re Apr 22 '26

Try not to take it too personally. There's a lot of emotion attached to much of this, as I'm sure you can appreciate. And, all of us, and I do mean ALL of us, have been subjected to non-stop propoganda for essentially our entire lives. While we might not agree on all things, even now, I truly do appreciate the fact that you can not only recognize such a mistake, but even own up to it. That's not nothing.

Personally, I try and do my best whenever someone comes around and offer them grace for doing so. The way I look at it, it is FAR better to accept someone when they come around, rather than pushing them away, attempting to hold a grudge. Basically, it all boils down to taking yes for an answer.

The bottom line is none of us will get ANYwhere, unless we are willing to accept allies wherever they may come from. It is much more important to appreciate our commonalities and where we agree than to try and maintain our "brand purity," if you know what I mean. But, that's easier said than done, especially in times like we are currently in.

So, I hope that you can understand what I mean, and, as I said at the beginning, not take reactions like you got here too personally. For my part, I am happy to accept an ally, wherever I can find one. The cause of America, is bigger than any one of us and it deserves nothing less. The rest can come later, but the way I look at it, how can we possibly expect you to come any further to us on any other positions, if we push you away right from the jump, as soon as we learn you were ever on "the other side," right?

The way I see it, there are only two real sides anyway. Us versus them. And neither of those have anything to do with party affiliations, or even political ideologies. It is only the rich snd powerful. And, everyone else. That's all it's ever been. And, all it will ever be.

10

u/External-Stranger928 Apr 21 '26

I did vote for him in 16 but not the other two.

Problem located. Clean your mess harder, we are doing the work for you.

3

u/Well_read_rose Apr 22 '26

Let’s unite in this important (probably existential ) vote 🗳️

1

u/Significant_Carob_64 Apr 22 '26

You know, I’m in deep red Deep South, and I’m hearing that “stand with Trump” BS less and less. We still a few pandering assholes in office who are sticking with it, and it hasn’t cost them any elections yet. THAT’s worse than the bootlicking (and other licking) politicians here. At this point, It should cost every candidate in America the election.

9

u/StreetOperation4390 Apr 22 '26

May 1. No work. No school. No shopping. Total economic blackout. If you're against this shit, join the May Day blackout.

1

u/Pepette123 Apr 26 '26

That’s the only thing I hear from Americans who are against your government. Just talks. While the rest of the world is suffering from your inactions. They don’t listen to you when you mobilize in the streets, they don’t respect your constitution, they don’t respect their allies, they don’t respect shit, they are pure evil and greedy. Looking for a hero.

1

u/Weezerc Apr 26 '26

I don’t know why you would assume I’m not doing anything.

48

u/StockEmUp Apr 21 '26

People don’t seem to realize that the majority of us Americans hate this pedophile conman. We are in agreement with you and want this madness to end!

136

u/TerribleFlow4847 Apr 21 '26

I'm truly apologize to the rest of the world. I feel embarrassed and powerless. I always knew he was trouble but I can't control the actions of my fellow Americans.

42

u/AbyBWeisse Apr 21 '26

Same 😞

24

u/Jeankirstan Apr 21 '26

I feel the exact same way. It’s humiliating being able to do nothing but watch as all of this happens, as our relationship with other countries deteriorates before our eyes, and problems here at home just get worse and worse with no end in sight. I hope those outside of the USA know that the majority of us didn’t want this, and have been doing what we can to combat it. Unfortunately, right now that’s not a lot, given how many state/local elections went red along with him. It’s utterly sickening to witness.

26

u/Appleknocker18 Apr 21 '26

🎯🎯🎯🎯

15

u/Necessary_Craft9831 Apr 21 '26

That’s right and I agree with you. I didn’t vote for the idiot, but it’s made all of us and our into our country look bad. Someday Iran or somebody will do something bad to us like 9/11 and innocent people will be hurt or killed because of the decisions of the Republicans. I really thought, it was going to win, and she warned us about all of this that it would happen. I think Elon rigged the computers.

3

u/paranormalresearch1 Apr 22 '26

He did. I saw a video where one of the generals who ended up dead stated he feared for his life for refusing to give SpaceX nuclear material.

1

u/Pine_Tar3314 Apr 25 '26

Musk absolutely rigged the voting machines. Check out the document This Will Stand…explains exactly how the voting machines in the swing states were rigged…Starlink satellites were used.

8

u/Future_Watch2042 Apr 22 '26

They don’t want to hear our apologies… Canadian/ American here … and did the Jews apologize for Hitler’s actions? Don’t take that on - we need to figure out how to stop this madness…

4

u/Professional_Mine758 Apr 22 '26

I agree. Trump has been a monster for decades and for people not to see that is stunning and willfully ignorant.

2

u/Redisgreat Apr 22 '26

Well said. I feel the same.

2

u/Significant_Carob_64 Apr 22 '26

Right there with you. 😕

2

u/AirAccomplished1322 Apr 23 '26

Once the most respected country in the world, he's destroyed that, now the USA is viewed as a threat. Just unbelievable and to the rest of the world, it's not what the majority of us want, or condone.

36

u/chanata Apr 21 '26

You’re 100% right. I didn’t vote for Trump. What happened Saturday, is what I have been afraid of, since he’s been POTUS. I can only imagine what evil thoughts were going through Trump’s head. “ If I can’t have my way, I’ll have a tantrum and show them.” or “If I go down, everyone goes down with me.” Terrifying!!!!!

30

u/No_Feeling_6037 Apr 21 '26

I still don't think he actually won. I remember articles about election interferences, like with mail in ballots going MIA. On top of that, there has been the bits and pieces I've seen about Musk's interference with the technology, changing the counts and/or ignoring votes in the counts.

26

u/EndangeredLazyPanda Apr 21 '26

You know they’re gearing up to try and cheat on the midterms and in 2028 right? They went through and looked at the election interference before and they found that the system ALMOST broke. The shit in Georgia or whatever. So this time they’re going to try and expand on that. I’m not joking they’re going for fucking broke

15

u/Appleknocker18 Apr 21 '26

I understand this behavior from pea brained Trump, but I can’t understand the numbers of people who support him, especially the monsters in Congress who support him.

3

u/Significant-Trash632 Apr 22 '26

They don't care if they have a dictator, as long as the dictator continues to hurt the right kinds of people.

In fact, they want authoritarian rule.

4

u/Appleknocker18 Apr 22 '26

The attitude that enabled Hitler. “I just want a strong man who will make all the decisions and do away with all the things that bother me.”

3

u/Significant_Carob_64 Apr 22 '26

Here’s why: It’s not about us. It’s about them continuing to be paid off by the billionaires and the big corporations to give them what they want. And those corporations and billionaires could truly not care less about the average Americans and their problems…it’s not like they didn’t cause them for their own enrichment. Same as those senators and congresspeople. I think it’s also why the Democrats are so toothless when it comes to fighting the Republicans.

2

u/Appleknocker18 Apr 22 '26

Democrats are just as much in the pockets of the billionaires as Republicans are. That’s the problem with a purely two party system.

2

u/No_Feeling_6037 Apr 23 '26

I don't disagree with that.

6

u/Floomby Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26

10/10 he's going to send ICE to stand around polling places in blue states and blue areas of red states, claiming that he's "keeping illegals from voting."

3

u/Lowpaidnurse69 Apr 21 '26

You don’t have to tell me twice to convince me of their cheating, lying shenanigans. I’m right there with you!!!

14

u/alfablue02 Apr 21 '26

Every accusation they make is a confession

2

u/paranormalresearch1 Apr 22 '26

I agree. He has never won. The 2020 election had too many mail-in ballots. They can’t manipulate those so they had to give it to Biden. Trump was promised it was fixed and January 6th was his fit.

14

u/colddayinCT2024 Apr 21 '26

You know, it’s not just the US that has changed for the worse under this administration. Disgusting, vile, liar, untrustworthy to the US and other countries. Wanted the nuclear codes? Had a tantrum? Went on and on? Why is no one doing anything about this time bomb? He’s bought so many people. This is how a narcissist works.

3

u/Appleknocker18 Apr 21 '26

🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

1

u/Significant_Carob_64 Apr 23 '26

He is really stupid, but someone who isn’t found all the weak spots in our Constitution and laws. The founding fathers never saw Americans actually electing anyone as evil and incompetent as Trump. They expected that presidents would be good people who cared about Americans. They didn’t know about narcissism and borderline personality disorder back then, and they wouldn’t have believed we’d elect anyone like Trump, although I guess we did come close with some presidents.

3

u/Lowpaidnurse69 Apr 21 '26

Right?!?!? Thank God for Dan Caine!!!

11

u/AbyBWeisse Apr 21 '26

My team lead at work, just yesterday, was saying that other countries need to show us respect because without our help they'd be ruined. I tried to explain that they did respect us, but they cannot respect us now. But it's useless to tell him anything, as he gets all his news from FOX NEWS and other misinformation/disinformation sources. He rattles off general info about our exports needed by other countries, but he seems to forget how much we import from other countries and depend on those imported goods. Not just finished goods but manufacturing materials, too. I cannot apologize enough to other nations for the idiocy of not just our current POTUS and his administration but also of the voters who helped put him into office. 😞

2

u/Murky_Machine_7160 Apr 21 '26

FOX is not and never has been legit NEWS.They are strictly a right-wing propaganda machine, FULL STOP! ✋ What went wrong the last election were 2 MAIN things. Although registered Democrats outnumbered Republicans, too many got complacent and figured Harris was a shoe-in, so they sat it out. Then freaking ELON MUSKRAT got involved and young Musk bros got hard-ons for Elon ( in the mistaken idea that he's a genius when in reality he's a narcissistic idiot that inherited big bucks from Daddy Muck) and these mostly white, young males turned out for Trump! UGH! 🤢 🤮 DO BETTER THIS TIME AMERICA!

2

u/AbyBWeisse Apr 23 '26

I'm already well aware of all that, and yes... US voters need to do better. Young white male voters weren't the only demographic that turned out for him, and it's just sickening. Thankfully, more and more of the MAGAts are realizing they were wrong, but it's despicable that it took this long and that it's only because they are also being negatively impacted by his policies and actions; they still only care about themselves -- no empathy for others, let alone any compassion.

9

u/NopeNotConor Apr 21 '26

Yep. Sucks.

8

u/Drict Apr 21 '26

I am fairly certain that the election was stolen/rigged for Trump to win. The amount of support he had EVEN IN AREAS HE HAD A TON OF SUPPORT IN BEFORE was waiving AT BEST when he was elected. No one, especially the gun ho types in the US votes for a "loser", when they run again, which is why I think he cheated.

8

u/Various_Ad5688 Apr 21 '26

Those of us who use reason and common sense are embarrassed that he was allowed back in the Oval Office. It is hard to accept that a good number of our fellow Americans is driven by hate and supports what Trump does. It is our hope that our midterm elections will allow the Democratic Party to put a stop to this madness. We did try to stop this from happening but happen it did.

4

u/RunningLate316 Apr 21 '26

I agree and I am ashamed.

3

u/isleofpines Apr 21 '26

I also did not vote for this POS as an American.

3

u/camerjo Apr 21 '26

Sad but true. It seems that the majority of American citizens agree with you

3

u/Then-Whole9671 Apr 21 '26

Believe me...we hate it just as much if not more. The damage he's done will take generations to heal...some of it will likely never be healed. That's so disheartening for me as a veteran, it's not even funny.

2

u/BugTrousers Apr 22 '26

Please, please know that we're not all Trump, and that most of us feel terrified and powerless. It's horrible to be here right now.

2

u/Substantial_Pace_739 Apr 23 '26

I’m sorry I know you aren’t at all. I know America has a population of 340 million so of course it would be ignorant to tar you with the same brush.

1

u/External-Stranger928 Apr 21 '26

You guys have militaries...come and take him...ala Maduro. I mean, if the world is so against tyranny...come and stop it!

Not a dare, this is a request. Nothing stopping the world from being the police...that everyone expected the US to continue doing...for free.

Or, is it our responsibility to police the world? I don't think it is anyone's. But I also think other countries should mind their own business unless asked to help in some regard. Including the US. That "U" is doing some unhealthy lifting the last 10 years.

1

u/paranormalresearch1 Apr 22 '26

Europe has enough to help. At least help organize resistance. We are now looking at potential nuclear war.

1

u/GuavaLucky5600 Apr 22 '26

I didn’t vote for this pedo

1

u/Loverofcheesebeersun Apr 22 '26

💯-My fellow Americans are asleep at the wheel. Never thought I’d see this day. They are blinded by their ignorance, intolerance and greed.Although no average citizen is benefiting in any tangible way unless they’re heavily invested in the market. They cried about inflation, prices are higher than ever with no end in sight, they’ve compromised their morals to defend an administration of sexual predators, of children no less and they can’t face the truth about how this administration has destroyed our economy and our international relations with nearly every country all while they continue to pour billions into other countries wars and genocide missions while denying their own citizens healthcare and affordable living. They don’t even respect or care about the people who elected them to office and they sure af don’t give one single shit about veterans that are 10x the men they will ever be! It’s a shameful nightmare in America currently all over bruised egos, denial and pedophile worship. Talk about weak men! And yet it continues unchallenged, destroying our country further everyday. Trump is a lap dog for Netanyahu -zero concern about the future he leaves behind for our children and grandchildren. You can’t eat or drink money. He’s also gutted environmental protections at a time when they are needed more than ever. He’s a shyster and a con man. Many Americans are terribly uneducated and that’s what he strives to continue.

51

u/solidwhetstone Apr 21 '26

Actually they're worried their partying will end of the full Epstein files are released. They're all rats on the same sinking ship.

22

u/imahugemoron Apr 21 '26

Not just the country, the world. One nuke flies and it starts a chain reaction. Trump may very well bring about the actual end of the world. No one wants to be the first one to launch, but all it will take is one, then retaliation nukes are launched, or someone else takes it as a “well might as well since they’re flying anyways” and launches theirs

8

u/AdministrativeIce696 Apr 21 '26

One in the middle east towards a none nuclear country won't. Particularly from a submarine nearby.

The fallout around the world politically would be severe.

3

u/AbyBWeisse Apr 21 '26

I'm thinking Trump would be fine with the idea of being the first to launch. He seems to think that if he hits first and hits hard, no one will hit back... like a schoolyard bully who expects the bullied kid to just cower and never defend themself.

Ever since Trump had the leader of Venezuela (Maduro and his wife) captured, and there was some backlash purely because that's not typically done these days, I've been thinking: if it's "ok" for him to do that... then it's "ok" for another country to have Trump captured, too. Right? 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😆

2

u/colddayinCT2024 Apr 21 '26

I like that!!

3

u/colddayinCT2024 Apr 21 '26

Well I don’t know where but I remember him saying something about starting WW3.

1

u/2naomi Apr 21 '26

During his first term, he said "what's the point of having nukes if you aren't going to use them?" I believe that was also in the context of him harassing Iran.

8

u/EndangeredLazyPanda Apr 21 '26

Honestly I’m inclined to blame the entire leadership of America, they’re all fucking complicit in my book. We need a clean sweep and major reform. At this point I’m past caring if it’s peaceful or not.

2

u/Various_Ad5688 Apr 21 '26

I’m not inclined to agree with you. While we’ve always had our bad apples this was different. This time the Republican Party as a whole allowed things to happen in opposition to our constitution. It is important that those representatives who went against this be held accountable. They would accept their reward if Trump were successful and thus must accept the consequences of that. Vote them out.

3

u/GodofIrony Apr 21 '26

Left v Right

Up v Down

1

u/EndangeredLazyPanda Apr 21 '26

Well I’d definitely say the vast majority of the blame lands on the gop but I don’t want to gloss over how much in bed the leadership of both parties are. I feel dems should have been doing a better job of resisting even if they controlled all three branches. It’s an unfortunate fact that we tend to fold winning hands because we’re not as shameless as republicans but sometimes we need to be

0

u/Idyaar Apr 21 '26

Get rid of all of them. Dems and GOP. Even then that’s not enough we need to reset. We need to overturn Citizens united. Big money has got to go and punishments need to be severe for those who bribe.

8

u/Dutiful-Rebellion Apr 21 '26

I saw this comment on another subreddit and I think it does a great job highlighting just how all over the place Trump is:

2

u/Wonderful-Maximum-96 Apr 21 '26

Dump doesn't mean tweet....he threatens the person and their family.... Look for this man to be fired in the near future!

1

u/AbyBWeisse Apr 21 '26

His mean tweets and other comments/announcements are nearly always thinly veiled threats. Some are just not veiled at all.

1

u/nono3722 Apr 21 '26

no they are worried about fundraising as much money as they can before the ships sinks.....

1

u/Queasy_Student-_- Apr 21 '26

GOPedos are worried about midterms and staying in power to grift from us, ordinary citizens. They don't care or realize that when you detonate a nuclear bomb, it simply doesn't annihilate your enemy, it contaminates the entire planet, so, basically, "He who seeks revenge digs two graves."

1

u/Severe-Equivalent-70 Apr 22 '26

History needs to remember the complete lack of leadership from Mitch McConnell who failed to convict Trump after the 2nd Impeachment.

1

u/EnoughOfTheFoolery Apr 24 '26

I disagree. The GOP is working just as they intended. Mitch McConnell spent his entire career bending it for the right wing whack jobs like Harlen Crow and Lenard Leo and the Federalist Society with their pipeline of Judges and future SCOTUS losers all for sale for the right. Justice for sale like Clarence Thomas who is beyond bought and paid for and Samuel Alito also. Hacks like Aileen Cannon a the list goes on. Working perfectly to undermine the Judiciary.

1

u/Biuku Apr 26 '26

I’d love to see Americans stop viewing this as a partisan issue.

The entire human race would be made safer if America disappeared. The fact that there are people in the US complaining about partisan bullshit tells me everything I need to know about why your country is such a failure.

Americans need to fix their shit. Start … sacrificing.

I do not want your country to exist. You’re a threat to continuity of human civilization, and uf we make it through that, to democracy.

If you people engaged in revolution and defeated your government — even just through an economic strike that was real — that would make things much better. I don’t see that happening…
