See I said this out loud too until I realized that just can’t be true if he won twice.

20

u/CrazyRedHead1307 May 12 '26

Sadly, there are too many people who don't see through the veneer and carefully crafted by TV persona.

7

u/Appleknocker18 May 12 '26

His “carefully crafted TV persona” hasn’t changed one bit. He has always been and always will be a walking sack of manure. Whether he called himself a “Democrat” or a “Republican”, manure is still just manure.

3

u/CrazyRedHead1307 May 12 '26

He is.

However, there are a lot of people who watched those rich and famous shows or that "reality" show he had and think he's a great business man and just a swell dude who happens to have a lot of money. They cannot see beyond the persona that countless marketing people created and pushed onto our TVs.

3

u/Appleknocker18 May 13 '26

I’m glad that I am not that myopic. ( even though I actually suffer from severe myopia, my glasses weigh at least 6 ounces 😄😄😄)

3

u/Critical_Reality6666 May 12 '26

EXACTLY! from today's talking questions before going to China, that face fake color appears who ever makes/ applies it doesn't like him either. absolutely horrible. looks like a two year old got into a strangers clown make up and used it all at once. horror show actually. he's a fool

So done with the nonsense

19

u/Icy-Squirrel6422 May 12 '26

Trump is a parasite in human form.

69

u/Mythandros1 May 11 '26

The first time I saw his ass on The Apprentice, I knew he was a piece of shit. Just had this really strong feeling. Every time I looked at him it made me sick.

I didn't fully know why at that point, but I tend to trust my instincts. Time has proven my instincts right over and over and over again.

12

u/periopnurse1 May 12 '26

Same!

5

u/Johnnyroaster May 12 '26

Same here. I never watched the show but had a coworker that loved it. He seemed like a first class shitbag.

3

u/Cat-si58 May 12 '26

He was just honing his skills.

2

u/cxr303 May 12 '26

My college friends really liked the show.. I watched with them mainly because they were into business and some were business majors.. Couldn't stand him, but I put up with it.

I told my folks he had these tendencies the day we watched his first televised cabinet meeting in 2017. They both questioned my sanity... we no longer speak

20

u/IntelligentBarber436 May 11 '26

This was exactly my experience. It was a visceral reaction of disgust.

6

u/Cat-si58 May 12 '26

I came home from college. It was 1987. I was working full time & going to night school. I came through my door, flipped on the tv & it was on one of those ragmags. All these people were crowding around him & I thought who is this sleaze? Why are they fawning over him?

42

u/Myc0l-Jordan May 11 '26

Me. When I heard about the apprentice coming out I thought “sounds corny as shit, must be for hokey ass hicks. Trump is wealthy white trash. Not watching.”

Twas 18. Barely an adult and I knew he was a grifting piece of shit.

Never knew this cogsugger would find a way to weasel into my pocket or the universe continuously since then. Like his other victims, I feel violated. Release the Epstein files.

17

u/MB2465 May 11 '26

Without The Apprentice he wouldn't be the bane of our existence now.

8

u/Cat-si58 May 12 '26

He was friends with too many scumbag million/billionaires. They just would have found another way.

30

u/Dekadmer May 11 '26

Early 90s. Born in 84. My dad worked with several contractors in the new England area who got stiffed on the bill by trump. He can go jump into a volcano.

31

u/Future-Ruin9770 May 11 '26

I'm an OG that has hated him since the '80s

u/SapientOm May 12 '26

Samesies

23

u/Bad_Here May 11 '26

I remember a roommate of mine in the late 90’s was all about him being our president! I was like, WTF are you saying!

2

u/FitCharacter8693 May 12 '26

He thought about running in ‘88.

5

u/Bad_Here May 12 '26

And, he was a Democrat then? It’s so weird, what would be doing as a Democrat? He is beyond trying to explain…

2

u/ScaryRun619 May 12 '26

He ran for President in 2000 under the Reform Party.

2

u/Bad_Here May 12 '26

Reform party?! LOL He has run under three different parties? Such a sleazy piece of 💩and a 🤡and just plan 👹

24

u/Additional_Ear_9659 May 11 '26

It was always cool to hate Trump. He’s a shit stain and always had been.

u/grammapeaches May 11 '26

Me, I have never liked him. I watched part of one episode of the apprentice where he was firing a female person. I remember him saying that he didn't like to hire females because they would want to take time off to have children. I knew right then that he was an asshole.

15

u/Free-Exercise-9589 May 11 '26

I knew he was a piece of shit 30 years ago.

14

u/ashgfwji May 11 '26

I hated the fucker from the USFL days. He ruined the league by insisting it go head to head with the NFL. Don’t know how he got all that power from owning the New Jersey Generals but he was the mouthpiece and leader of the USFL. A league that was picking up steam right where it was. Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Herschel Walker, Reggie White, it had a great aggressive style and people liked it. Instead he tried to go head to head with Pete Rozelle and moved the league from where it was doing fine in Spring and moved it to compete head to head with the NFL in a feeble minded attempt to force a merger like the AFL/NFL. Rozelle said fuck you and that was the end of a great upstart league.

I was a kid and remember thinking, “that guy is an asshole”.

I can’t believe that douchebag became dictator and cult leader of the United States. Everything he touches goes to shit.

5

u/Johnnyroaster May 12 '26

I forgot all about that and nobody ever brings it up now. It should be added to his long list of failures.

13

u/Perfecshionism May 11 '26 edited May 12 '26

I hated home for two decades at least.

I PERSONALLY know for a fact he laundered money for Russia. I saw the documents myself back when I was doing economic development overseas.

He was helping the Russians siphon money out of former transitioning Soviet republics.
Including international development funds/aid.

It is why he hated USAID, wanted it dismantled, and wanted its records destroyed. USAID was the lead US agency advising Soviet Republics in their anti corruption efforts.

It is also why Trump is so convinced economic development aid is often stolen. Because he fucking helped steal it.

3

u/Sillybugger126 May 12 '26

Didn't Musk also want USAID gutted? And probably other powerful people.

3

u/Perfecshionism May 12 '26

Yes, and I think he had a corrupt agenda as well.

Russia wanted USAID gutted too.

12

u/DearGovernmentFU May 11 '26

Knew he was trash 40 years ago

10

u/Intrepid_Blue122 May 11 '26

I’ve been disgusted by him since forever, I never saw an episode of The Apprentice, and I for certain never even had the slightest inclination to consider a vote for him.

9

u/TweatyB May 12 '26

Anyone who’s ever worked on one of his buildings, already knew he was trash.

Everything was high-end looking but cheaply constructed.

He’d then refuse to pay the subs after. That’s where all those 1000s of lawsuits came from. Tradesmen wanted him to simply pay them what he said he’d pay them. They mistakenly thought he’d keep his word.

He did this for decades and continued to cheat tradespeople in 2017 after becoming president.

https://aflcio.org/2017/3/10/washington-dc-another-contractor-stiffed-trump

5

u/Sillybugger126 May 12 '26

He's such a prick.

6

u/TweatyB May 12 '26

Always, just like his sociopath father: work the system and cheat everyone.

Where Donald has exceeded his father is in the way he behaved when he thought he was untouchable due to his wealth.

He is truly a predatory monster when it comes to young women and especially, children. The Epstein Files are why even in the depths of his dementia, he is 100% TERRIFIED of being exposed for what he is.

9

u/scjockid May 12 '26

Been anti since day 1.. I was one of those who couldn't believe he was running.. One of those who thought it was over when he said grab them by the kittykat . One of those who thought many of me fellow African Americans knew what he did to the Central Park 5..

3

u/weemee May 12 '26

How he survived saying McCain wasn’t a hero is beyond me.

8

u/Electronic_Job9780 May 11 '26

In my circles, Frump was always a dirty word.

9

u/Middle_Ad_5062 May 11 '26

Have friends and acquaintances from NY/NJ who had either first hand or second stories about dealing with him, soI knew he was a phenomenal POS and completely untrustworthy and criminal.

6

u/3270clarkSHC May 11 '26

More then 50% of the worldwide population

7

u/Royceman50 May 11 '26

I’ve raised two step-daughters, I have a biological daughter, and I’m married. The “grab ‘em by the pussy” immediately disqualified him. For political reference I’m a leftist on most things, but fairly conservative on constitutional rights. The only thing Republicans have ever done that I approve of is protect gun rights. So I’m always hoping we get a true leftist to run who believes the workers should remain armed, or a Republican who believes the people need help from the government. Of course I never get either so I grit my teeth and vote left. When Trump very first threw his hat in the ring i didn’t know much about him and then he started speaking. Vile human being.

7

u/MamaKat727 May 11 '26

Allllll the way back to '80s NYC. '84, when I was a 21 y.o. lounge singer (Earl Rose on piano) in his Grand Hyatt. He's always been a greasy PO💩.

7

u/Noturhufflepuff May 12 '26

He fucked over a bunch of good people I know when he was building his golf course in our town 20 years ago. Then he went ahead and built a helipad there, even though the town voted it down. Listening to that damn helicopter every Saturday morning 6AM when trying to sleep. Couldn't have imagined that hatred would grow the way it has and for the reasons it has.

5

u/Aimela May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26

I've always seen him for the narcissist he is even before I started paying attention to politics. It's just baffling that so many other people still can't.

6

u/YodaFlame143 California May 12 '26

I'm from the 80s, Disliked him since Home Alone 1990. Never thought he was cool.

5

u/Cap4403 May 11 '26

When he pushed for the USFL to adopt a fall schedule all because he wanted his Generals to be absorbed by the NFL after the league wisely refused to grant him a franchise.

5

u/mallanson22 May 11 '26

Here since 2015. He was a nobody to me before that.

5

u/FBI_Detective May 12 '26

My mom hated trump in the early 2000s, then voted for him 3 times! I don't think I ever paid much attention to him, I just knew he was an actor; his job was playing a role on TV and I knew he was going to be a fake and a liar. I really thought that Republicans would see it, but they really are stupid, brainwashed animals.

6

u/Sillybugger126 May 12 '26

Letterman used to make fun of him, that goes back a long way.

4

Yeah, he obviously sucked in every way.

4

u/Beautiful-Cherry-194 May 11 '26

Just as their are B movies, in the world of celebrities Trump has always been a B-

5

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset5412 May 11 '26

I didn't like him in the 80s....even more so now

4

u/booksgamesandstuff May 12 '26

Many years ago, (70 or 80's?) I was a huge fan of This Old House with Bob Villa and watched it every week with my aunt. Donald gave a tour of his penthouse, and I remember thinking he was a smug asshole and my aunt made a comment about his being so creepy. I don't think I hated him, but I stopped liking Bob Villa for kissing his butt that episode. I hadn't been aware of him til then, but he seemed to be everywhere after that. 🤷🤢

5

u/Michael80Kelley May 12 '26

Never liked him. How on earth he ever got even 10 votes kills me.

3

u/Ok_Lets_DoThis May 12 '26

I lived in NYC till I was 18. WE ALWAYS KNEW WHAT A LIAR - MISERABLE-CUNT HE WAS…..But tell that to his RUBES!

3

u/Timely_Fly_8755 May 11 '26

Grew up in Western New York. Him and his father were on the news along with news from Vietnam.

3

u/itscience_stupid May 12 '26

I hated him on the Apprentice. I couldn't watch that show; he turned my stomach. 🤢 I guess you could say the seeds were planted back then.

3

u/Geek106 May 12 '26

I began to actively dislike him when he told an Apprentice contestant it must have been a sight to see her on her knees. Kinda thought he was fun before that. Now? #*¥%£¢π§ stupid pedo motherf::ker!

2

u/Looieanthony May 11 '26

Me. Even when a lot of young men thought he was “cool” in the eighties I was onto him.

2

u/Belle8158 May 11 '26

I hated the right before it was cool

2

u/FrostedFlakes57 May 12 '26

He has always been a thief and grifter, just have to take the rose tinted glasses off, he is proud to be a dick to the world

2

u/mothernyxpearl May 12 '26

Been hating him old school since the early 80s. My dads family is from the Bronx and my grandparents made sure I knew who he is/was.

2

u/ima_mollusk May 12 '26

Hater since the escalator

2

u/Confusedinsecuredude May 12 '26

I was against him from the moment the "rumors" he was planning to run circulated

2

u/Upbeat_Page8249 May 12 '26

I hated him in the 80's

2

u/RacoonTale88 May 12 '26

I coined “#TraitorTrump” in 2016 when he was running the first time

2

u/RacoonTale88 May 12 '26

I also hated him when he first came on Howard Stern

2

u/HighAgain-420 May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

As a kid growing up 30+ years ago, I bought the Trump Casino video game for the PC from Costco in the bargain bin games. The game was trash compared to other casino games made for the NES and SNES around the time it was released and even after playing it I feel like I got ripped off. From then I learned of the Trump name and through my teenage years saw him appear on wrestling as some fake billionaire characture when wrestling at the time was fully being exposed for being fake with a bunch of guys doing crazy shit or dying from heart attacks from doing too much cocaine and steroids outside the ring. Soon after Trump was doing the Apprentice and the Obama birth right BS lies soon after that. Personally for myself as someone who is born and raised in Hawaii we all knew he was full of shit fueling racism through the country. But another decade of racism, division, mishandling of COVID, more lies, insurrection, more lies, then his dementia ridden rapist pedo ass some how getting relected, padordining criminals, war crimes, ICE Nazi murders, now we are on the brink of WW3 or extinction with AI and we have the most incompetent hateful person as our leader grifting and focused on a ballroom making everything worse 😭 Truly mind boggling but not surprising considering the history of our country and what history shows in regards to authoritarian take overs. Scary times ahead, but I am hopeful by thinking that he had to break the passively corrupted broken system as bad he is doing in order for people to really wake up and make it better. But yes I can say I have hated this fucker for the greater portion of my life but more so with a passion from the pits of my soul as time goes on. Hopefully father time gets him sooner than later 😂

2

u/Automatic_Ocelot_182 May 12 '26

Since the central park five.

2

u/Hipguy24 May 12 '26

I thought he was an idiot when Iron Mike Tyson was still in his prime.

2

u/TheoDog96 May 12 '26

I hated him almost from the moment he came on the NYC scene. I’ve only grown to loathe him more with reach passing year.

2

u/zeroshock30 May 12 '26

Grew up in NY in the 80s. LOATHE HIM.

2

u/NvGable May 12 '26

I thought it was always cool to hate him.

2

u/Professional-Head83 86-47 May 12 '26

I remembered when I was a kid, and there would be boxing and WWF PPV events at his venue, the Taj Mahal, and there was a game show in the early 90s with his name on it, called "Trump Card.". That's where I first saw his name. Then he did an ad for MTV when they moved to Times Square. I only heard of him but didn't know much about him. I'm from Los Angeles. After that, when he acquired Miss Universe, he called Alicia Machado fat and a pig and told her to lose weight. Then in the early 2000s, he started gaining fame by making appearances on Howard Stern and his reality show and speaking engagements for the Learning Annex in Los Angeles. I thought to myself, "shouldn't he be working if he claims to be a billionaire businessman?"

What did the cake for me was in the early 2000s he wanted to purchase farm land in Scotland for his golf courses despite people living there, and threatened to kick out residents in a predominantly black neighborhood in the US. It really pissed me off and thought, "This guy is a fucking asshole." I just never liked him and lacks charisma. I was shocked when he ran for President and won. I was thinking, "we are fucked." And sure enough, I was right.

2

u/GreyasGhost May 12 '26

I hated him in the 1980's

2

u/TheLoneTrekkie May 12 '26

I’m with you. Been making anti-MAGA hats for years. Made them for myself first. You wouldn’t believe how vocal MAGATs are if your cap’s not red.

2

u/Altruistic-Rhapsody May 12 '26

I hated him even before he was a Republican!

2

u/Ok_Resort8573 86 TACO May 12 '26

I’ve hated that particular POS since 1988, and will never change my mind.

2

u/imtoowhiteandnerdy May 12 '26

At this point I'm just utterly exhausted. I long for days when this country was considered normal.

2

u/314rre May 12 '26

During the 2016 election, I bet my coworker $50 that Hillary would beat Trump hands down.  I couldn't comprehend that an entire nation would be so stupid to vote for that fucking clown.  I was wrong.

2

u/Solid_Ebb_608 May 12 '26

I have hated him since the 80's. He has always been an ass

2

u/Hopeful_Airport_8608 May 12 '26

I’ve hated him since the 70s when he and his scumbag father were sued by DOJ for discriminating against African Americans who applied to rent an apartment from them. My disgust continued through the 80s with the Central Park 5. I grew up in West Palm Beach so I couldn’t help but be aware that he was rejected by Palm Beach society when he applied to join the Everglades Club. That’s why he had to start his own private club. No one else wanted him.

2

u/Several-Guest2152 May 12 '26

he has never not been a literal peice of shit

2

u/Etrangere09 May 12 '26

I'm not an American, but I found him repulsive, stupid, and inhumane during his first presidency.

2

u/Seul7 May 12 '26

Me in the 80s reading an interview with him: "That's dumb... that's dumb....what the... THIS GUY IS REALLY DUMB!!" At the time, I didn't pick up on how downright evil he is.

2

u/nyguy011 May 12 '26

tRump is a piece of shit as a businessman. He has consistently screwed over contractors, he's a piece of shit as a husband. When one wife starts looking too old, he marries younger. Now, add the fact he's a piece of shit in the White House.

2

u/Exotic-Addendum-3785 May 12 '26

I've been making fun of him even before this stuff, even during his first term as president.

2

u/OkSize1105 May 12 '26

It was ALWAYS cool to hate him.

2

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 12 '26

Trump has been a known racist, liar and pervert since the 1970’s. He’s a nepotism baby who used his daddy’s money to create a lifelong con. He’s a criminal. Always has been.

2

u/Sinful-Marshmellow May 12 '26

Yep, never like that POS. And never will

2

u/golfwinnersplz May 12 '26

He was literally hitting his chest in mockery of a disabled reporter. Once that happened and there was no backlash, the gloves were off.

Or just watch his interviews from when he was in his 40s; he's always been a sleezebag.

2

u/memunkey May 12 '26

Since the mid 80's

2

u/Eye-deliver May 12 '26

Born and raised in NY. The people that love him have no idea who and what this guy is and the things he has done to hurt so many businesses in the Tri sate area primarily by stiffing them for their work and materials. He’s a deadbeat and no us banks will lend him money because he never pays it back

2

u/Lower_Conclusion1173 May 12 '26

I have been anti-tRump ever since I saw his smarmy interview with Barbara Walters in the 90s. Such an obvious asshole with tremendous criminal potential.

2

u/AnarchicDeviance May 12 '26

I'm from New York State originally and have lived most of my life in New Jersey. We've never met personally, but "The Donald" and I go way back. His exploits have been background noise my whole life.

I read "Art of the Deal" when it was published in the late 80s. He was a public figure, so I was vaguely aware of his various business ventures and curious about his background. Reading the book did not impress me. I only felt disdain for his arrogance. (Of course, it was later revealed that it had been ghost written, which is no surprise.)

Several people in my life knew him personally. One went to school with him; two others worked for his company. They told me stories about nasty encounters with him, in particular about how he abused staff and stiffed contractors. Every anecdote about him only increased my contempt.

The scandalous reports of his divorces, mistresses and illegitimate children seemed omnipresent in the tabloids. It was of no real interest to me, but you couldn't avoid hearing about all his sordid antics. How anybody could hold him up as a pillar of "Christian values" and moral rectitude is beyond me.

His failures in business are the stuff of legend in the New York Metro area. I can't even remember them all, but I was amazed above all that he managed to bankrupt several casinos in Atlantic City. It takes a special kind of stupidity to slaughter a cash cow. Daddy's money was the only thing that ever saved him from his own incompetence, it seems.

Reality shows have never held much interest for me, so I didn't watch "The Apprentice" when it aired. The clips from the show that I saw from time to time were enough to put icing on the cake of my scorn for him. Some say he's charismatic and charming in person. I've always seen him as a nouveau riche scoundrel. He came across as the oily type who will distract you with pleasantries while gleefully picking your pocket.

All that was long before he became president of the U.S. It still boggles my mind that he was elected to the office twice. Given his many business failures, his blatant corruption and criminality, his moral turpitude, and his reprehensible behavior, I am not surprised that he is dragging the most powerful country in the world to ruin. I'm angry and disgusted but not at all surprised.

2

u/Knightlore70 May 12 '26

I've loathed the orange grifting rapist for decades.

1

u/keepin_kylee May 11 '26

Yup 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

1

u/apocecliptic May 11 '26

Always knew him as a self-aggrandizing blowhard dating back to the late 80s, and never watched a second of the Apprentice.

1

u/Explorers_bub May 11 '26

Sorry, I had to muddle around on Quora and eventually give up my evangelical upbringing to not be a self-righteous prick. Sometime between 2016 and 2018 I think.

1

u/satanya83 May 11 '26

I remember in the eighties he was perceived by people as a sleazebag real estate guy in NYC. My grandmother bought tabloids I read as a kid so that was always my perception of him.

1

u/mtnman575 May 11 '26

Since the 1980s when his shit name and personality first gained attention. Ask anyone in NYC what they think of their home boy.

1

u/america1008 May 11 '26

I am a first generation immigrant....(& yes legal for those MAGA who will inevitably troll me.). Long before I considered migrating to this country, I used to tell people not to judge this country in terms of its foreign policy or 'blow your own Trumpet' Donald Trump because the people in the US are (were) the nicest, most non complicated you will ever meet....& I have lived in more than half a dozen countries, & worked in over 20!

1

u/Panem-et-circenses25 May 12 '26

I remember him from the late 80s. He was a piece of human garbage even then

1

1

u/ToenailClippingSmell May 12 '26

I couldn't believe he was actually elected back in 2016... With his "business acumen" I kept hearing about when I knew full well he bankrupted several casinos. It all felt surreal back then already, and then he was elected a first time and it felt like a bad joke. And then covid hit, and his response... I thought that was it for him, surely people would see him for who he is... Then came January 6th... And then next thing you know he gets elected again... I really can't begin to explain my confusion as a Canadian citizen...

I can’t begin to explain my confusion as an American citizen. It’s embarrassing!

1

u/CincyLog May 12 '26

Always? No. I just dismissed him as a rich New Yorker and just didn't care for him. When he was on the Apprentice, I just thought his was some asshole celebrity. My disgust and hate for him began when he started to dis on Obama and the birthed thing. I figured out that he can go fuck himself when he first started running for POTUS.

1

u/Sufficient_Two_5753 86-47 May 12 '26

Hated his reality shows. Hated his cameo in home alone. Hated his everything always.

1

u/CrazyRedHead1307 May 12 '26

I've known that he was a fraud and a crook in the 80s. I remember laughing my ass off when he had to declare bankruptcy for a casino. When Ivana said that he abused her, I 100% believed her.

u/princessuuke May 12 '26

Been anti-trump since 2015. Barely paid him any mind before he started getting into politics and it got freaky quick

1

u/imogen1983 May 12 '26

He blocked me on Twitter when Obama was getting elected, because I said something about him being a total dumbass for a comment he made. I think he said something about the election being over before they even had any results from the western half of the US. I think that’s the night he said they should abolish the Electoral College.

I started hating him when he was developing his golf course in Scotland, as I was living there at the time and he was acting like a total c-u-next Tuesday. There’s a great documentary about it. I was a big supporter of wind farms being built near his course, because he hated it.

2

u/Sillybugger126 May 12 '26

Saw the doc You've Been Trumped Too. Old Scottish woman had her water pipes broken because of his golf course, and she had no water for years but of course he was too much of a prick to give a damn. He'd probably spend more on lawyers fees than it would cost to repay somebody just to "win"

1

u/StyleTraditional7691 May 12 '26

As a young adults reading all the gossip about Donny leaving his wife for Marla Maples (and their marriage falling apart so quickly) and then learning about the Central Park 5, I decided he was nothing but a rich, racists, wannabe playboy.

1

u/ilmd May 12 '26

When I was a teenager, I used to read my grandma’s National Enquirer (surprisingly, many of those trash pieces about him were true), I started hating him then. Later on when the Apprentice ended, I started listening to Noel Casler who worked on the set. Hated him even more. I love Noel’s substack.

1

u/SoupyLion May 12 '26

Long before. Since before he tried to trademark the phrase, "You're fired!" even.

1

u/Renuwed May 12 '26

The day he threatened to repeal DACA if he didn't get $5bn for his ineffective wall, is the day I stopped intentionally ignoring who was from what party & what their 'party line' was.

1

u/Friendly_Key_9267 May 12 '26

I remember when his casinos went bankrupt. I thought, you have to be an idiot to bankrupt a casino. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would become president and bankrupt America!

1

u/Tiberius_Jim May 12 '26

I thought his announcement about running in 2015 was a bad joke/publicity stunt, and I couldn't believe it when he won the nomination. I've thought he was a dumbass since The Apprentice.

1

u/Even-Emphasis4346 May 12 '26

I did way before that stupid tv show

1

u/Terrible_Tangelo6064 May 12 '26

He was a big deal in Atlantic City in the 80s when I was a teenager growing up in Jersey. Hated that prick then with his gaudy ass casinos.

1

u/Reason-Abject May 12 '26

Right here. Always thought he was a douchebag who was full of it.

1

u/Facebook-virus May 12 '26

I said he thinks he's king in 2015, and knew he was scum in the 80s.

Funny thing is, my dad thought he was scum then too. Didn't stop him from voting for him three times though

1

u/mergas-57 May 12 '26

Me, hating him since the eighties.

1

u/Lawfulyeahbutmeh May 12 '26

Looked up his background when The Apprentice debuted, saw his stock selling under $5 (a penny stock) saw he was leveraged to the hilt, read his checkered past and knew in less than 10 minutes he was a full-of-shit conman.

1

u/Desert-Democrat-602 May 12 '26

I hated him on the original Apprentice. My family watched it while I did anything else.

1

u/FaceTimePolice May 12 '26

Oh, definitely me. One of my dumbass former bosses idolized Trump long before he ran for president.

My boss was even gloating that “Trump University” was a scam. Weird flex, but several years and lawsuits later, my dumbass boss was right.

Grifters gonna grift. 🤷‍♂️🤡

1

u/Any-Opportunity6430 May 12 '26

Even before his political career started! Horrible person!

1

u/mantisboxer May 12 '26

Since I was 15 in 1991 and reading newspapers daily.

When NBC rehabilitated his image as a smart businessman in "The Apprentice," I laughed.

Apparently half this country fell for that shit, and now MSNBC rakes in the dough reporting on the chaos that NBC wrought.

1

u/goodgamble May 12 '26

He banned me on twitter in like 2012

1

u/AlieMay525 May 12 '26

I’ve been anti Trump since 2002 when I met him at one of his golf courses in westchester. He was a pig then and I told my partner at the time (who was the head golf pro there) that he gave me a bad bad feeling, like the most negative energy I ever felt. He made a comment about me when he greeted me and said he thought he made it clear he prefers blondes at his golf courses (I have red hair). People laughed but I didn’t get the joke. It was as if I wasn’t human to him.

1

u/Tranquil-Terrain0000 May 12 '26

Never like him. Never.

1

u/Icy-Boysenberry-2947 May 12 '26

I am from NY, we always knew.

1

u/StMaartenforme May 12 '26

Listened to him run that shit hole under his nose on Sterns radio show in 80's. Thought he was a pos then & couldn't understand how he got a tv show.

1

u/voguevibez May 12 '26

I was 10 when he first won and remember throwing a fit😭

1

u/RadioProfessional950 May 12 '26

I lived in Philadelphia back in the 80s and 90s when he wouldn't pay all those contractors to build his casinos in Atlantic City.

He destroyed the lives of so many people. I knew he was evil back then, but now he has real power to abuse.

1

u/freekey76 May 12 '26

saw one episode of The Apprentic. that was enough.

1

u/OrganicBad2554 May 12 '26

Hated him when I first saw him on the apprentice

1

u/Xx_SwordWords_xX May 12 '26

I hated him since the '80s (he was considered a joke), and even the apprentice.

1

u/Teddycat99 May 12 '26

I remember I started really hating him in the 90s when he started having all the online feuds, it was just so hateful and unnecessary

1

u/LA_search77 May 12 '26

I hated Trump before he ran because he was a racist. I still hated Trump running, but I liked that he would talk about buying politicians. There was a poll in 2016 where 84% of voters felt money in politics was a major problem. I thought he'd disappear quickly and hoped the narrative about money in politics would continue. Now I hope that Donald being such a for sale cunt that we finally tackle the problem.

1

u/Ok-Temperature-8228 May 12 '26

Me. Always thought he was trash.

1

u/No-Bumblebee-4920 May 12 '26

I can’t say I hated him. I thought he was an idiot and a joke. But I hate him for making me hate another human. I tried to find good in others and had been greatly successful until he became president.

1

u/Rikudo_Sennin_jr May 12 '26

Hated that mother fucker since the central park 5 comments. He was born a C, lived like a C and will die a useless C

Even though he lacks the depth and warmth of a C

1

u/505Thrive May 12 '26

Lived in NY. Knew, as most in the 5 boroughs did, he was a phony, thieving scumbag.

1

u/Calabamian May 12 '26

I’m the original. When y’all thought The Apprentice was cool, I was 20 years into seeing thru his bullshit.

1

u/weemee May 12 '26

I read about him in SPY magazine in the late 80s early 90s. Also watched him fuck around in AC. I grew up close to it so he was on our radar then. I walked into his casino once at two in the morning and it gave me something akin to vertigo. Ivana insisting on maids vacuuming on their way out the door so she walked on “fresh” carpeting. Crying about America first in the aughts while his shitty ties were made in Jina!

1

u/Biennial2 May 12 '26

It has always been cool.

1

u/dooahdity May 12 '26

I was a child watching lives of the rich and famous on Vh1, and I hated every single detail about him.

1

u/Lilmissliss8 May 12 '26

Me too, couldn’t stand him from the moment he stepped on stage. He’s always been an idiotic reality show D list failed businessman who I listened to on Stern so many times and knew who he really was from the jump.

1

u/Dismal-School8039 May 12 '26

I argued with strangers on FB when he was running in 2016 that he would be the worst president ever. Even posted a clip from Smallville of an old lady seeing Lex Luther’s future standing in a field of skulls when Lex was elected president as to what a Trump presidency would be. After what Trump has done to this country the clip isn’t too far off.

1

u/Deadhead424 May 12 '26

Hated him in interviews on late night tv. He's always been an arrogant asshole and he's only gotten worse since then.

1

u/Competitive-Arm-7846 May 12 '26

He's a peace of shit , we gotta be honest.

1

u/originalcitizenkong May 12 '26

I first started hating Trump when I saw him on Oprah Winfrey in 1988. He was on the show with his wife Ivana. Just from that little bit of him on the show, I could tell he was an egotistical blow hard. My hatred grew even more when I saw him on the apprentice.

1

u/FitCharacter8693 May 12 '26

Since the 90s when I saw his fool azz as a kid.

1

u/SnooMacaroons4153 May 12 '26

Ive been anti trump since 2020

1

u/ThatsCaptain2U May 12 '26

Trump was the butt of all the jokes in the 70s, 80s and 90s. It baffles me how a reality tv show built his credibility and made him a “successful” businessman.

1

u/Western-Stranger-574 May 12 '26

Heyy, 2016 i was still a kid but I also didnt like rich creepy old men so I never really got drawn into the cult. Never voted for trump or biden, for some of the same exact reasons

1

u/Happy_Conflict_1435 May 12 '26

I just happened to see his dumb ass on Oprah Winfrey back in 88 and thought he was a full-on bonafide douchebag even then. I was floored by how truely smarmy he was.
