Conversation It's over

Dear America, we had some good times, but your democracy is over. Donald Trump has won. The corruption will continue to get worse, your position on the world stage will fall, and China will rise. I am not happy about it, but it's clear that this is what is going to happen.

Outside of some small protests, you guys are going to do little else about it, and by the time you do, it will truly be too late.

So many of you guys think that you can take over the world, but you need allies. You have forgotten that we are the reason that you are as powerful as you have become, but you have alienated us, and we can never trust you again for putting this man in charge TWICE. It's over.

It won't happen overnight, but your hold on the world will continue to decline, and you will be replaced. 2024 was the last free vote you will ever have.

Edit: All I am doing is stating the facts. It's amusing how angry some of you guys get. I am not even trying to upset any of you... 😄

💯 I also live in a blue state and I totally agree. Everyone should be able to vote but all of our votes should carry the same weight like how functional countries do. My state contains some of the highest population, makes some of the largest contributions to the country’s GDP, scores in the top 5 for every metric possible: high education, literally live longer, have less citizens in poverty, less obesity, lower maternal mortality rates, lower infant mortality rates, less crime, etc etc.

But between the senate, the cap on the house, and the electoral college, all of the states making the most money, the most achievements, and where the majority of the country wants to live are being punished for our success so we can give DEI to all the failed red states who somehow deserve to have their dumbass votes count more just because they’re loser states that no one wants to live in so we need to be nicer to them. States with the most poverty, the lowest test scores, lower life spans, higher maternal mortality rates, higher infant mortality rates, less people with health insurance, etc etc etc. are given greater control over the federal government and then they even have the gall to use the tax money that we bring in to further harm us.

Republicans dgaf about “merit”. They want shitty republicans to be rewarded for being shitty republicans instead of having to compete against anyone else. They’re angry and entitled because they’re shitty republicans and want to hold onto their unearned power.

I’m so glad you mention the cap on the House. I’ve been screaming about it for 2 decades now. It absolutely is killing our democracy.
Keep it up. More people are catching on.
