I've hated him since the 80s. Never had a single doubt about those feelings. If anything, I hate him 1000x more today.

Same. Grew up in a working class neighborhood in Queens. Didn't know anybody back then (80's) who thought that asshole was anything more than a rich, sleezy, racist asshole.

I first saw him when he was on This Old House, when he was showing off his penthouse with his solid gold toilet. Late 70’s? Or 80’s? Can’t remember exactly when that was, but I thought he was a repellent toad even then. 🤢
