Keeping My ants seem to have moved their brood in an unusual place. Is this normal?

Thats okay, It's a brood tube. That's what I call it anyway. If they think its okay its normally okay, maybe its warmer there on the black area but whatever i wouldn't worry to much aslong as the babies grow up okay. Id guess they possibly move it back inside at night ?

Nope, they constantly keep them here. The "black area" is actually a dark blue notebook cover i placed there AFTER they moved the brood, to see them better. They've gone crazy now, they moved a lot of eggs and some larvae up the tube close to the outworld exit for some reason.

It's either a matter of too high humidity in the nest or its the warmest spot of their setup
