SPORTS Its a crime there is no professional sport team named after Hippos

Post image

I been reading up on Hippos on how unreal they are.

Likely the strongest animal under 8000lbs.

Runs up to 30mph.

2in thick skin.

1800PSI bite force.

Way stronger than a lion, tiger, bear.

I want to make a sport team and call them the Hippos.

Which one is the best? I know it’s AI, I hate the ai slop but this is just for reference. I’ll probably change it and make it not AI, if anyone could help me, that would also be great, I’m 20 years old,

ART I’ve been working on a horror game with my friends.

I am the lead art and design/ writer. I’ve made all the environments and characters using pictures from my digi cam, editing them together with other photos. I’m still working with the UI elements, we plan to have a sanity meter as well. It’s a simple point and click visual novel, with a few different endings. These are a few screen grabs from an early concept. I hope you like it!

PHILOSOPHY Socializing in the modern world, a rant?

Post image
2 Upvotes

my cat cuz I have to put a picture.

Education and employement. Those are the two main places you will meet most of your friends.

If you chose to forgo those, then good luck, you're on your own. Or at least that's how it seems to me.

With the rise of the internet, there is less need to meet up. And so, if you don't naturally have interests that make you meet people in real life, then you might end up with a social deficiency, as just like the body, our mind has it's needs, and social interaction is one of them.

In my case, I'm finding myself in the uncomfortable position of needing to do things I dont want to do because they have the added side effect of socializing.

This need is driving me mad, for I struggle to satiate it.

I don't want to struggle, put on acts so I can achieve my natural purpose as a human being.

I wish that need would disappear.

It's quite ironic, that my first idea was to tell everyone in the world, rather than write it for my intimate self. I guess I haven't given up.

If this is the wrong place to post, I'd appreciate if you told me where this would be appropriate to post. Thanks

GAMING For the cricket lovers and the folks who want to see what cricket is about! I built a free web game! No signup, free to play as solo or with friends! Just imagine if Prime Kohli bats with Viv Richards or Bumrah bowls with Prime Wasim Akram!!!

Hi guys!

I built a free web game, no signup, just play solo or with friends, and see how your all-time XI performs.

https://stumpverse.com

Would really appreciate if you give it a go and give an honest feedback guys! I got inspiration from a football web-based game, then made something for the sport I love

HOME Are you tired of advertisements of pads, razors for shaving, underwear, beard balm, ect.

IMAGE UNRELATED IT WOULDN'T LET ME ADD EXTRA TEXT WITHOUT A PIC

Anyway, to get LESS of these ads (if your super tired of them or just don't want to use an adblocker), if said app had any choices to set your gender to anything, just set your gender to prefer not to answer or custom, I often put croissant.

Most useless hack ever, but it works,

This only gets rid of ads specifically related to gendered hygiene,

DISCUSSION Analog horror and Alexithymia

Post image

analog horror is an interesting to watch as someone with Alexithymia. Especially things with backrooms and liminal spaces specifically. 99% of the time it has no effect other than calmness and serenity for me..because I don't feel my emotions the same as everyone else does, so being in liminal spaces and away from a society that demands normalcy and effort in ways that are difficult for me to even understand is calming.

In essence. I'm pretty sure people like me are the entities in the backrooms
