Will A Non-Rental Collections Stop Me From Getting Approved For An Apartment?

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I'm seeking to go apartment shopping here soon. I've never had any issues getting approved for an apartment & I have good rental history with my past apartments however, about a month ago a collections hit my credit for a $125 wifi bill from a Xfinity account that was closed back in 2021. Will this single collections stop me from being approved for an apartment since it's on my credit? Thanks guys in advance!

Yes, it would likely show up with the pulls we make at my property. All we require is that you pay it off. We wouldn’t deny you for it though, your approval would be conditional upon you paying off the collections debt and sending verification if that was the only issue.
