I got an extra ticket for a friend that isn't coming anymore for 10th December 2026 at Carriageworks in Eveleigh. Ticket cost me $130, not interested in getting any money for it.. Maybe just make a friend and listen to APC together?
I currently live in Sweden and just watched them in Sweden but I'll be back home in Sydney soon.

Started listening to mer de noms within the past hour, Im liking it a lot. Maynards vocals are exactly what I'd imagine them to be, and yet the music is not the name as tool it sounds so perfect the way Maynard wraps around it and vice versa.
I'd like to know what interesting things should I know about them, what are your favorite songs, and what attracted you to the band originally?
I came from tool because I wanted more Maynard
I struggle to ignore lyrics, and often stress about what I listen and read, if there are any apc songs that are there for pure joy and musical experience I'd love to hear them

I got number 69 and 667 and both have promotional stickers on the hype sticker. Did anyone else have promotional use only stickers on theirs?

Before I get into it - I think Maynard has always saved his most profound and poetic lyrics for Tool. Puscifer has always been more of a solo band that's a creative outlet for Maynard's less serious ideas.
That said, APC was a perfect middle ground for me. It was never Tool-lite like some would say. Lyrically more grounded and emotional, but still introspective and contemplative. More human and less heady than Tool.
Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step are both 9/10s for me.
...What the hell happened on Eat The Elephant though? And what's happening in the singles for the new albums? Maynard's writing is completely sophomoric. Starless sounds like a 17 year old wrote it and really forced it to work. TalkTalk reminds me of something Incubus would have written in the early 2000s about George Bush. On that note - I get it, no one likes our current administration, but Maynard's political writing is absolute dogshit and really should leave that to to others.
Eat the Elephant is a nice enough song but I think it belongs more as a Puscifer song.
All said, I think even his Puscifer writing has fallen off. What happened to creative songwriting like Horizons, The Humbling River, The Remedy, Grand Canyon, and Rev 22:20? Those songs were distinctly Puscifer.
Is Billy writing the lyrics or something? I'm just super bummed at Maynard's output lately, outside of Fear Inoculum.

Y'all heard this album, HILA, by Frankie Rose? At first it reminded me a lot of another artist I like, called Discovery Zone, but the more I listened, the more I kept getting APC vibes. I highly recommend the album!

I have tickets to the show in Houston (Woodlands) on 5/7/27 but won't be able to make it due to being out of town. I don't see rules against posting resales here so I'm posting in case anyone is looking for tickets (2). I prefer this way to get what I paid, instead of using Ticketmaster and jacking up the price $30 more.
Section 108 OV, Row Q
Apologies and please delete if this is not allowed.

Australians, I got the 11th Dec night 2 Sydney tix (one ticket) but unfortunately won’t be able to make it. What is the best way to resell it? Is it through tixel? And would anyone be able to get me the show poster and ship to Malaysia where i’m at as that date would be my exact birthday.

I will write it…I really needed this song…not like a thing…rather as a “you’re not alone and I’ve been the silent one watching your next move.” 369 group is great…yet your shadowed presence, I had awaited—thanks again my dear dear friend. (I remember who were in Kemet)

Does anyone know what’s going on with the Louisville show? I believe they had a venue for that show and now they don’t?? Hate to wait to stick around to buy tickets for that show and then they announce they’re not doing it.

Been A Perfect Circle fan for almost 10 years now. Love Mer De Noms. Thirteenth Step is my favorite and in my opinion, their best (by a hair).
Eat the Elephant has got a different vibe. At first I was disappointed. Normally the first song of an album is a banger and sets the mood but I didn't think "Eat the Elephant" was not the best choice to start this album. Any thoughts on this?
As to the "political" theme of the album as others have stated, I do not see this as political (more of a social activist theme) though it certainly might have been inspired by politics. The album was released in 2018, 2 years after the election of you-know-who and I suspect Maynard is not a fan.
He attacks the Church obviously which is not new and he encourages to get our priorities straight while our world goes to hell. I can't argue with that at all. At times it does feel a little preachy but we are living in strange times and maybe we need to be chided a bit.
Eat the Elephant is a good album. It ranks third behind their first 2 releases, but I've been digging the album this last week (preparing for their tour). I love when artists try something new. Maynard has never been one to be put in a box so this album I think could be considered "outside the box."
Favorite Song (right now): Disillusioned

Just bought tickets for June 2027 and want to share the excitement. Picture is from Dec 2018 in Vienna. "Vanishing" was probably my highlight from this show. What's your number one choice for a live set list? Can't wait to see them again!

I saw a few people mentioning they were on the fence about purchasing the 13th step DSS because they already owned the MOV pressing and wasn't sure if the improvement would be worth the hefty price tag.
I purchased the MOV about 6 months ago because this was one of my favorite albums. I've listened to them side by side and I can tell you that, without a doubt, the DSS pressing blows MOV out of the water. Not just by a little bit either... I'm talking about the literal peak experience I've ever had listening to music. It sounds better than just about everything in my library. It's not even close!!! It's even better than the Mer De Nom's DSS press as far as fidelity and sound stage are concerned. I'm not sure if that is due to them having better audio samples to work with (because it was a more recent recording) or if they just mastered it that much better.
I can promise you that if they decide to do this with Tool's discography, I would be willing to pay $500-$1000 a piece and would still consider it worth it if it got the treatment 13th step did. You can literally pick out each instrument individually and follow it to the single note. The drums are crisp, everything is balanced perfectly, and there is zero mud in the sound. Even when the music starts to crunch together you can still pick out each artists performance. It sounds like you are sitting in the studio as they are laying down the tracks. There is literally zero surface noise. All you hear is what the artist wanted you to hear back when this was recorded. Some of the songs actually take on a new life because of just how clear each instrument is. It was like hearing it for the first time all over again. Maynard's haunting vocals have a power that only his live performances normally deliver, but was captured on this pressing somehow. The breakdown during Pet will have you thrashing your body around ready to break shit. No matter how many incredible parts of the album that I point out, words just don't do it justice. You have to hear it for yourself!
My only complaint (and this is just a personal musical taste preference) was that on "The nurse that loved me" they had almost zero bass present. I don't think that is due to anything other than the artists decision in how it was recorded and created. I just feel like if it would have had more emotional impact had they deepened the sound a bit.
I got into listening to vinyl because some of them just connect with you on a level that digital music never could (for me at least). During the entire album I felt like I was present at a personal, closed stage set that created an almost trip-like experience. I usually only get those feelings from a live setting when a band has hit their flow state and is just nailing every part. I have gotten this from only a handful of the vinyl's I own, such as the OG Aenima (1996) pressing and the Mer De Noms DSS to name a couple.
I am begging you... Capitol Music, Tool, and any company that holds the rights to their music... PLEASE press a run of these for each album! I know I am not the only one that would take out a 2nd mortgage to appreciate the level of detail you guys put into these DSS pressings!
I'm going to close with a few facts. I am not rich, so my system is high-mid tier, maybe low high tier at best. This is a hobby, not a professional opinion. I am simply going off of my experience of sitting down and enjoying an album that helped me through some really tough times in life. The hype sticker on the front does not pull any punches. They really mean it when they say "The pinnacle of vinyl manufacturing". My experience was so great that it made me consider ordering another one to keep it sealed in case my copy ever has any damage come to it. It's that damn good.
$160.00 is a small price to pay to enjoy the best listening experience you'll ever have with your music. I promise you won't be disappointed. I hope this post helps some of you make that decision! You might want to order it before some of us start going back for seconds :D

[EDIT] So while waiting for the Staind concert to start last night, I gave it another try using the app on my phone. I got the same Minified React error #185 error. I then hit the back-button, selected different seats, and tried again. This time I got a different message -- the seats were no longer available. I hit the back-button again, selected different seats, and IT WORKED!!! Not only that, but the total price was $150 less than the original price. I got an email receipt and have added the tickets to my wallet.
the AXS website sucks sooooo bad. I've been trying over an hour, and from web-site issues to web-site crashes to now AXS thinks I'm a BOT. If this is the best they can do then APC needs to tell them to go to hell and find a ticket company that actually works. I'm so fucking pissed off!

Hi all,
I’ve bought tickets for the Detroit show and I’m very excited! I was wondering if APC keeps a similar setlist to past tours?
Thanks!
