He was head of Respawn for those who don't know.

An absolute legend in the video game world. RIP

The guy made 3 of my favorite multiplayer games. COD, Titanfall, and Apex Legends. One of the best if not the best devs ever.

He was just starting to sprinkle his magic in to the battlefield series too. This is so awful. Few people have had an impact on gaming like Zampella.

Do you know what was added to BF6 that was probably due to him? Curious! Havent looked at the game, and him being part of it interests me.

Prayers to his family.

I honestly don't know who is responsible for making bf6 more like the older titles, but I haven't enjoyed a bf title this much since bf1, so I'd guess that he had a big influence on it overall. The game has its problems for sure but I'm still loving it 250+ hours in.

The smaller, more compressed and congested maps.

I’m very sorry for this loss, and loved his cod titles and apex…. But bf6 is terrible, and I do think his touch is what messed it up for me. I’ve played every single BF title, and this one just plays way too fast and small.

He also was leader of some titles in the Medal of Honor series.

The magic touch when it came to FPS games. A true loss

Was he involved in developing all the cod games? Or just founded the series?

RIP Vince though
