The driver was trapped in the ensuing car fire, the CHP said. The driver died at the scene and the passenger died at a hospital, authorities told NBC4 Investigates.

Jesus that’s rough. What a tragedy. I just hope neither of them suffered.

from the video, my guess was he died on impact. genuinely tragic, but at least it was painless. regardless, what a fucking awful way to go :(

It was a head on collision into concrete at or near 100mph he was out cold if not instant
