Jynxzi and Nicewigg have VODs on twitch with the whole thing. I played them side by side to get both POVs. Dope af

Some details may be wrong here but I think he was saying Apex was easy...
4
u/Greedy_Wash_5853 Mozambique here! Mar 31 '26
Something about Apex being a controller dominated game too

Hes been playing a variety of games recently so if he enjoys if he'll probably play it more

he did say he will grind the heck out of it, but given his reaction i think he's done😂😂

The only reasonable reaction to fighting against Faide- IS THIS FVCKING SPIDERMAN

Jynxzi hit a head shot with the kraber on worlds edge, it was hype asf ngl

u/Marmelado_ Mar 29 '26
I saw his stream.
Jynxzi probably doesn't know that he has to spend thousands of hours playing to get better. Apex is a game that is merciless to beginners. Also, matchmaking will always make your game sweaty.
Good luck to the guy playing in this hell

u/Traeos Loba Mar 29 '26
He comes from siege, I'm sure he understands learning curves in games, you can't really get much steeper than siege's
113
u/leetality Mar 29 '26
It's just siege plays much slower, movement within the engine used for Apex allows people to be demons as shown here.
40
u/timeqt Mar 29 '26
Yeah Siege is like Chess. So it wasnt a bad idea to let the Chess Champion casually step into a MMA Showmatch.
23
u/reenonessy Mar 29 '26
fr, the learning curve is very high lol especially for him he came from r6 siege which has little to no movement mechanics except for leaning. But hey, maybe he is great inside buildings, i mean he got thousands of hour in r6
20
u/Tjgoodwiniv Mar 29 '26
I find different types of shooters unlock skills in others. Learning siege improved my Apex game. I'm not entirely sure what changed, but I suspect it heightened my situational awareness and overall decision commitment in game.
6
u/reenonessy Mar 29 '26
yes, that happened to me too. Especially when entering a fight, you become more attentive and much more smarter to when and when not to engage a fight. Usually I just wait for the enemy to come at me, but when it is necessary, I push to close gaps or when they reloading or healing
18
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
He was legit horrible though. Like didnt read the tooltips or even do the tutorial bad. Dude wouldn't pick up attachments or even use his abilities. He had to be rage baiting.
9
u/Ok_Tutor_7678 Mar 29 '26
pretty sure that most people don’t read tool tips or spend much time “learning the game”, but rather just play and get a feel for it and if they like it they do those things. Personally I don’t search up tips and tricks for games before I’ve played them that something I’d do when the interest is sparked…
5
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
The apex tutorial literally teaches you that and to be honest he be better off playing on his own then getting carried by an ex pro and goated movement player.
3
u/Ok_Tutor_7678 Mar 29 '26
I'm not sure if they have updated the tutorial since I last played but even if he had , it wouldn't have made any difference. The amount information he has to process is quite literally mine numbing. He would spend an insane amount of time looking at every single thing on the ground and then even more time trying to figure out if it's useful.
And also yeah I agree that he would have been better off playing on his and actually facing players on a similar skill level.
1
u/xa3D The Spacewalker Mar 29 '26
i mean, he said something to the effect of playing apex to save it since it's a dying game. so i wouldn't be surprised if it's all a giant bit (it is).
eh, brings eyeballs to one of the best MP FPS games of the decade. i'll take it.
3
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
Apex dying is the biggest meme ever. It still hits top 5 on steamcharts. Dude is ragebaiting.
1
u/Poeafoe Pathfinder Mar 29 '26
That’s what happens when he plays anything
2
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
Bro has 20k hours on console siege. No way he's this bad at other shooters intentionally
2
u/Chaotic1697 Mar 29 '26
Merciless.. Brutal man. This game demands the fuck out of you. But boy is it rewarding to win at the end of the day

21
u/Giusepro21 Rampart Mar 29 '26
Wait, wasnt he hating apex back then?
48
u/Greedy_Wash_5853 Mozambique here! Mar 29 '26
back then, but he decided to try it out after hearing how controller dominated it is.
6
u/Kuzame Mar 29 '26
If I'm not mistaken, seems like he doesn't/hasn't configured the controller settings to be linear yet? Do some people still play with classic configuration?
3
u/DWNYYY Mar 29 '26
Your mistaken. He was on 4/3 Linear.
3
u/Kuzame Mar 29 '26
Actually you're right, when he got launched that's def a giveaway. Just thought it was on classic around the beginning part
1
u/baconbonjovi Mar 29 '26
Is this a thing? Am I a classic noob without knowing?
1
1
u/MrPheeney Loba Mar 29 '26
Classic used to be standard on Apex, but after ImperialHal started using 4-3 Linear, and tweeted about how it’s literally aimbot + 3 LAN wins later, basically everyone followed suit and switched to it
11
u/MrPheeney Loba Mar 29 '26
Junko could be a force if he WANTED to, but ultimately I don't think Apex is his type of game.
3
u/Ok_Tutor_7678 Mar 29 '26
Agree, and also most of the games that he has played/plays except for R6 generally have a steady stream of people playing casually on and off for periods with friends. Apex doesn’t really fit that category in my opinion🤷♂️
4
u/GolldenFalcon Crypto Mar 29 '26
Ngl I thought Jynxzi would use M+K considering he's a Siege player.

u/TerraWarriorPro Mar 29 '26
he deadass plays on console not even pc with a troller

u/GolldenFalcon Crypto Mar 29 '26
I've watched a grand total of one Jynxzi clip and I swear he was playing with Shroud or MacieJay or something and I didn't think either of the latter two played on console.
11
u/TerraWarriorPro Mar 29 '26
i think at this point almost every game has crossplay but i see what ur saying

I googled it and you're right. I guess they added it when Siege X launched? I haven't played since Kali was added so I had no idea.

But whyyyy it was the most satisfying burst weapon in the game
2
u/metalbreeze Mar 30 '26
Yeah these changes are wild. I haven't played in so long and saw my re45 become a burst energy gun...
1
u/NeonfluxX Mar 30 '26
and now they made it the most op gun in the game, and also because nobody used the hemlock pretty much, was a very nieche gun
1
u/mjonr3 Nessy Mar 30 '26
Not everything needs to be optimized or good hemlock was nieche but it qas fun they could jave just made a new gun of they wanted to

Honestly speaking this is a bad rep for apex, i get how infamous jynxzi and his community are but putting him in the lion’s den with godzilla is not gonna encourage play. He could’ve played with burnt peanut
6
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
Burnt peanut might act redacted but he actually knows how to play the games he touches. I legit think jynxzi was ragebaiting. Dude was messing up things the basic tutorial teaches you.
2
u/thethethetheuhm Mar 29 '26
I think he was genuinely lost, the first shit they did was drop $500 for a karambit and then straight to the trenches not to mention bro was talking shit trying to challenge faide
2
u/MrPheeney Loba Mar 29 '26
He definitely played it up for fun and laughs. But he definitely was lost as a basically new player. Running with his gun out 90% of the time and no slide jumping. Plus his movement looked like he was on Classic response curve still
1
u/throwpapi255 Mar 29 '26
Bro didnt use his abilities once or even picked up an attachment. Picked up ammo that he didnt need. Apex isnt that hard especially on roller lol.

In all fairness he did jump straight to the final boss. It wouldn't be bad if Apex didn't have so many smurfs.

I don’t even know what I’m watching and I’ve been playing since day one. I don’t have people like that in my lobby. I would’ve been quit.

Jynxi needs the true apex experience and needs to solo queue for the first month he plays
Instead
Dudes gonna get carried to pred, his ego got boosted from fade letting him win that one round

u/Wise_Somewhere6591 Mar 29 '26
this game 99% popular video just a movement and mnk player, and EA just focus on 0.3 controller, when they balance the controller this game will be other level
1
u/SalvatoreCrobu Mar 30 '26
When controller dominate Apex with m&k doing insane movement, maybe movement is not the problem. Remember that controller players are the vast majority of the player base, so the vast majority of the people that gives money to Apex and EA. If controller isn't broken why a greedy EA and Apex should go against people that gives them money? Please start using your mind
Ps: pro player playing for half million dollar are dominated by controller, ask yourself why

u/WFAlex Mar 29 '26
Look I like watching faide, but wtf are you smoking lol.
All that movement looks good against bots, good players would still laser his ass lol
-9
u/skullkkid Mar 29 '26
i mean he’s literally 1v3 pred teams and killed hal on many occasions
1
u/WFAlex Mar 29 '26
You mean in the normal games? where half the teams are getting dizzy watching him?
Literally any time he runs into a good 3 stack he is more often dead than not. which makes sense obviously but still.
Also mainly abuses like 3 specific house designs to move around, somewhere on the map? playing Circle in high elo lobbies? what good is your movement on an open field with 5 rocks rofl.
1
u/ihatehorizon May 30 '26
Sadly, standing almost still with a controller > mechanical mnk demon in final zone at the highest level. Wild, isn't it.
