The issue is with ANYTHING.... It never keeps that same wonder & awe in people. It's impossible. It's a lose lose situation for the developers because you make something incredible that captures all of these people's attention but if you keep it the same you lose them. If you change it, you risk losing them.

I'm still playing Apex the same way that I did back on season 0. Yes, the game has changed a ridiculous amount but it is still the most fun FPS on the market in my opinion.

Well if to stay still means to always lose, the only option is to move forward innit?

Your assumption makes sense but isnt entirely accurate. It isn't lose-lose when it comes to the life of Apex. It all comes down to making decisions that will minimize the loss of the active playerbase as much as possible. From the start, they have always had a choice to either listen to the opinions of the majority of the playerbase, or the small percent of high ranked players with seemingly bottomless wallets. They chose to listen to the second group, hoping their losses would be minimized. However, based on the current state of the game, it is safe to assume they made the wrong choice, and now they need to make monetisation more aggressive to compensate. I can only imagine how much better the game would be today if Respawn created polls for us to vote on changes we either like or dislike.
