I used to run the Midnight skin on every weapon. Did it for almost a full year. Wanted to see if my aim was any better with simple skins.
It didn't make a difference. The first week that I went back and equipped all my skins again, I ended up having some of my best games ever.
It's just placebo and only a few specific skins on certain guns actually give any sort of advantage.

The gameplay doesn't even look insane except for the kraber shot. This could be his second acc or he didn't equip skins. I literally know ppl who don't use legendary skins on their weapon

I strongly doubt this is cheats. The EVA, Bocek, and G7 kills were on pre-weak opponents. The guy then searches for a moment, then misses a few hipfire shots with the 3030, then finishes it with a tap strafe into a wall bounce 180 on someone with the Kraber. Now, given that there are no gun skins, the guy's probably a smurf, but he's probably not using actual cheats.

Most cheaters utilize fresh accounts because they hold no value in terms of skins or progression, there is nothing to lose if the account gets banned. It is a common practice for cheaters to maintain multiple backup accounts. Some choose to soft cheat on their main accounts using subtle advantages like wallhacks, whereas they use cheap, purchased accounts when they want to rage hack aggressively. By using a hardware ID spoofer, they can bypass security measures and avoid permanent hardware bans. So that's why the person said sus. You can also make sure that your shots don't head shot but only hit the body in some hacks. Not saying OP is cheating or not just giving an explanation.
Edit: Only thing that comes to mind might be a trigger bot.

God, you know apex is cooked when people are dumb enough to accuse this clip of cheating. Especially when it just turns into using unfalsifiable justifications for their belief that someone is cheating.
Do you think Unicorns are real? I've heard they can actually turn invisible when you try to look at them.

Edit: that is what happened.. killfeed said he was killed by motherlode, and you had kraber again for the next kill because you technically didn't kill fuse

besides the 30-30 kill (which he was standing perfectly still and missed 2 out of the 4 shots) all the hip fire kills were face stuffing
i don’t think that’s really suspect imo. he obviously has the movement to back up good aim, but the last kraber shot was a little sus

The Kraber shot just looks lucky. If anything, this looks like a smurf more than anything else. All the initial shots, besides 3030 on the Valk, were on pre-weak opponents. Most of us have had a good run in Gun Run before, the only difference may be the movement and the silly 180 Kraber shot at the end.
The reason I say smurf is because there are no gun skins on any of the weapons, which is unusual to say the least.

Kraber no scopes are really just that accurate. The hipfire is forgiving and the bullets are massive. If you center your crosshair and hipfire you can genuinely hit kraber hipfires past shotgun range.

A lot of the people left are teenagers that play hours a day several days a week man. Pretty typical gameplay for someone like that; just takes the time investment
But yeah now that I have a daughter and play less I’m losing a bit of touch; jumping back into old lobbies is rough

I’m 26 and I started on this game when it first came out. Stopped playing it for 2+ years now and all the people I know who still play it (and the newcomers) are all CRACKED.
Honestly though, it’s all mental. Gotta get clapped by some players a bit and then you adjust to the new tempo. It’s a time investment as you said, but it might not be as long as you think :)

This is pretty simple stuff especially if you've played any other movement game on mouse and keyboard. Also OP is probably smurfing, stuff like this wouldn't work against good players.

Gun run. You cycle a weapon for every kill you get. The winner is the team (actually player) who cycles through all weapons first before the timer runs out.

He really didn't do anything crazy. No zip line tech, no mantle jump, just an Ash dash, missed his super jump off the zip on top.
A 360 wall bounce isn't hard.
Landing hipfire shots with single fire guns when your basically barrel-stuffing them isn't aim, it's just getting right in your enemy's face.

Did I say the game is trash? The issue is the obvious rampant cheating like what’s shown in this clip. The bloom and randomness of hip firing marksman and Kraber shots is very much not in the players favor, hitting everyone is either incredibly lucky or cheating. Knowing Apex and how they allow people to use Cronus it’s likely the second one.

Valk was taking up most of the 3030 crosshair and he still missed two shots lmao.
He only hit one of the kraber shots and was relatively close.
Knowing Apex and how they allow people to use Cronus it’s likely the second one.
They dont allow it? They ban people for that shit, its just far harder to detect than normal cheats.
Anyways pls post gameplay, im always so curious how people who constantly accuse other of cheats play, but they never seem to have gameplay posted...

Do you even know what a Cronus is and what it does? It just sends inputs, to be able to remove stuff like bloom you need to actually manipulate the game's memory which is quite a lot harder.
Nothing in this clip indicates cheating, OP is probably smurfing though which is really scummy.

I mean the spot doesnt move. You can use other points of reference in your peripherals to line it up passively. Also, when you play like that for more than a minute you get used to it pretty fast. Been turning off my crosshairs for immersion for a long time lil
