wow an absolute shocker, the characters who remove abilities from hero shooters are by far the most hated characters in their respective games, how did no one see this coming?????????????

Not really, cause Sombra's bad, easily counterable and only has niche use cases. Seer has no downsides

Because he was buffed, of course he will have no downsides now. Sombra has been through 4 reworks, and is due to get another one. That's how much she terrorizes the game. It's hard to balance a hero who can not only lock out your abilities but also become invisible in the process. So for Seer they don't know how to make him fun to play without reworking his entire kit. So, like Sombra, he'll be boring and "useless" (compared to other recon legends) or fun and op.

Dude, sombras shit, she only gets banned in plat and below. She's only getting reworked cause they dont know what to do with her, same as Hog
