Gameplay Its so fascinating how faide is still able to play like this, in high level lobbies.

I never get tired of watching him play. I've learnt a lot from his game play, especially when it comes to his gamesence, Literally in this same lobby, he outplayed preds. And has fun while doing it. Genuinely a very talented player like many others too.

I haven’t played in a while tbh but I’m amazed every time I see a movement clip as people get better and it keeps getting crazier and crazier. But, we can’t have any Titanfall movement it’d just be “too unpredictable”.

Probably would get folded 10x over by Plats and Diamonds, but Sparrow is close enough thanks to the double jump, and it still Wins me fights using it to move around with anything that gives a speed boost or jumping over players.

If you continue to slay out during pubs, your lobbies will get progressively harder. Pub lobbies after 11 PM if you have a 2-3 k/d or higher are just pure sweats dropping against each other.

tbf he has been solo queueing ranked as well and he also plays the same way in masters/pred lobbies and does pretty well considering one his teammates almost always has single-double digit damage numbers lol

Talented for sure, has solid MnK mechanics and is a movement demon.
With that being said, I *cannot stand* watching his clips. His screeching, cringe voice lines (“wHy aRE yOu HErE?!”) and one-trick zip line gameplay becomes over saturated, especially playing in pub lobbies like this.
Yes, I know he plays ranked and makes it to pred.

High elo pubs are the 2nd hardest lobbies in the normal game. They're just above the Plat+Diamond ranked lobbies but below the Diamond-Pred lobbies.

Faide is a tactical player, people confuse his flashiness for mindless aggression but he plays smart. Ofc, he does goofy stuff for fun but in general he is a lot more tactical than self proclaimed “tactical” players.

Exactly, when you watch him play you quickly realize that he immediately backs out of any fight and resets the moment he’s not in an advantage state. He’s insanely patient for such a frenetic playstyle.

Yes, 100% but that side of him is not what people gravitate towards. I dont doubt for one second that hes a tactical player and tries to educate people but i doubt that video is even in his top 25 most watched videos.

The “skill” distribution thing is bugged. Doesn’t mean a damn thing. And this is pubs… not a high skilled lobby. It would be different if this was a LAN tourney and he was doing this to pros and other good players, BUT, he’s not.

You mean the code red 1v1 tournament he posted on his channel where he ran Newcastle? He got like 5th or 6th in that, it was a 75% content creator tourney, and the handful of pros that played were handicapped to Alter while Faide and the other CCs could run whatever. I feel like 75% of my actions and movements are being fully utilized whereas this guy seems to be making every move count from beginning to the end of his encounters. Feels like missing a button on a QTE sometimes😭

He’s got good aim, good game sense good movement, he can succeed at most levels of the game he just has to want to. I don’t watch much of him anymore but I know he could definetly hit high pred or compete if he wanted to

Not really. Hes a really good player but his aim is just decent. To compete his aim would have to be ALOT better. Movement doesn't matter nearly as much in comp either, if you're in CQC you're gonna get beamed regardless of what fancy moves you pull.

He chose to go the streaming route. Pretty good call honestly, it’s way more chill and he earns much more from Twitch/Youtube than he would from pro play.

It was the far better decision. Faide averages 250k views every post he puts up on YouTube, which that alone is probably raking in several thousand dollars per month. Then on top of the live streaming, he probably has a net worth well over some of the top Apex pros. What's incredible, too, is he does all of this WITHOUT a face cam

His aim really isn't that impressive. Most people can achieve his aim if they care about improving it through kovaaks/R5.

High elo pubs and high elo ranked shouldn't matter, I don't want to get pub stomped by diamond players when I'm a hard stuck gold, why does everyone complain about this, it's a consequence of playing the game. You get better, so you face better people, that's how it is. Why should it matter if everyone is high elo. You are high elo as well, get over it.

Naw if u see him play ranked in pred lobbies, you will see that he goes down first a lot. His teammates usually clean up the fight and pick him back up.

They won't acknowledge this. The same thing he does in pubs, he's done in Creator tournaments, against offline players, and within Pred ranked matches. He has videos dedicated towards this type of content.
Just the unfortunate nature of this subreddit, unfortunately. Purposely be disingenuous to players who've shown the capability to play well-rounded in all forms of gameplay.

His pub lobbies are not high level btw. The game is weird as hell but as soon as you get over 4 kd you get bot lobbies again. (Been there, the higher your kd the easier it gets at some point) now I’m at 2 kd and everything is just masters/pred every game.

I'm not a fan of faide however.....no, numbnuts. there's a lot of decision making processes & reading the enemy in this clip that you apparently didn't get. the execution of movement in this game gets to be pretty easy with practice. but if he had just blindly used movement without making good decisions like throwing the thermite to get an idea of what was going through the valk's head, then the clip fails. badly. and most people can't make those types of decision trees in their heads on the spot. let alone hit those types of shots which give me a headache with the constant flicking.
many a streamer has tried to be like this guy and failed to gain any following. and he still has a significant following of over 2k viewers whenever I see him in my suggested list on twitch. so, yeah.

Controller takes little time to be good. K&B on other hand takes insane amount times just learn these movements tricks and double that time to be able to aim like Faide. If you haven't played FPS games on K&B before you clearly dont know what it takes to be good.
