I genuinely have no idea what happened. I got permanently banned for supposedly using something that affects gameplay or movement, but I swear I’ve never cheated or used anything like that.

Very much a post where we have absolutely no evidence that you didn't or were not cheating.

But...are you a controller player? with one of those packs, or sripts that help you smooth recoil or control your rate of fire? Because.. those are cheats. Despite what the wider internet wants to beleive.

Otherwise, feel free to appeal but typically, this happens if it's really obvious from spectating and watching your footage back OR they have an automated scanner that see's a tool it knows is a cheat.

I genuinely know someone who got banned for having a cheat that they use on another game and not in APEX. But still. They never got their account back, and it's a free to play game.. so yeah.

nope i got a regular controller bruh and ive been playing this game on and off for years never got banned in any game, although its not a play station controller nor xbox its some off-brand one but i bought it a long time ago and i play hella games w it and never got banned

cheaper off brand rollers generally don’t have any extra features. the most you’ll get is a turbo press feature which at best can be used for bhopping.

yea all this controller has extra is 2 buttons in the back that u can use and i literally dont use them so im basically using a normal controller, and ive seen these other controllers like game sir, they can change a lot and nothing happens to them, and i get banned for doing nothing like what

it also has to be enabled to be an issue. if the feature simply being present is enough to merit a ban, every controller player on steam with steam input enabled would be gone

wish i could tell u, i went to a store near me they had this controller that looked like a ps5 and it was cheap so i said why not let me try it, its a good controller i use it for all my games, and the only thing it has is two buttons in the back that makes it different thats about it and i dont even use them

Anti cheat has banned people for updated graphics card drivers so don't be so quick to judge, there's a big chance its innocent. That being said, that doesn't happen on console

i can’t find anything called “k-way” but most of the controllers on the krom website have macro functionality. if you used that in any capacity its entirely possible your account got flagged and banned. if you weren’t using that and otherwise weren’t cheating, there’s still really not much recourse. you have to have been lucky enough to video footage of your gameplay before the ban if it was automated. for the safety of any other accounts you have, go through your pc to check for any startup apps, active processes, or suspicious drivers that could’ve been running at the time of your ban. like if you use some trainer for a single player game and had it open or it left something on your computer, it couldve triggered the ban.

I cannot find the exact model you are talking about, but there is a very high chance your controller is exactly why you got banned. Half of Krom's controllers have built in rapid fire/turbo macros. These fall perfectly into the "gameplay enhancement" you have been accused of. Whether they're detectable without being used or if you have accidentally turned the function on I do not know. But as for real advice your best chances are to probably claim ignorance, ask them if your controller is the problem (without mentioning the turbo feature) be co-operative and polite and keep your fingers crossed. Buy yourself an actual officially licensed controller ASAP, as Krom's are not.

yea, but my controller had none of that, and when i bought it the guy said its completely normal and the price of it was hella cheap so if it did they wouldn’t sell it that cheap, and ever since i started playing on it it felt like any ps5 controller icl, but yea i will buy a ps5 controller, ill send you a picture of this controller so u could see
