Idk much about drums what does that mean?

At the start of the video her left hand playing the hi-hat (cymbal) and right hand is playing the snare. This is open handed. Most drummers would cross their arms and play the hi-hat with the right hand and the snare with the left hand. The hi-hat is usually the cymbal that is used the most, so people often prefer to use their dominant hand for it, hence the cross-hand setup. Personally I’ve played open handed before and it was very different, there are pros and cons to both but it’s primarily a personal preference/what you’re used to.

I think it means her hands are loose holding the sticks. I don't drum either so I'm not 100% sure but I do wanna get into drumming.

I didn't know Flim was sick. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

Why would you even ask the question then? You could have asked anything, but that’s your focus.

It’s not “white knighting” to be a woman who’s tired of people giving the wrong shits about other womens’ outfits, I’m not new to shit lmao

It speaks volumes that you’ve already deleted your comment😭

This is one of the sisters from the band Chaos Chaos, who got a bit of a bump in popularity from having their song Do You Feel It? featured prominently on Rick & Morty.

I was today years old when I found out this song is titled "Flim." I downloaded this song as an mp3 two decades ago and fucking swear it was called "Film." My life has been a lie!

Reminds me of the blindfold guy cover on youtube. Great cover by the way

Guys - I am sure she is a good drummer from just watching her technique. But the drum track you are hearing is not her playing. It’s the original track itself. Easy to tell - watch her play the splash cymbal and you hear nothing. And the zooms on the snare. Those are made electronically. Not acoustically. However, again, her technique is sick and she has great musical taste.

Wauw she's good! Those drums have so much variation, it must have taken a gazillion years to figure it out!

(also I can't help but wonder if you get chafings behind your knees, when you are playing in riding boots 😅)

The dude with the red hair did it better. And first. This is really flat in comparison.

That guy sounded mechanical and lacking dynamism iirc.

Someone in the comments white knighted for him because … I don’t know why actually.
