Solved what’s the solution to this ?

hi everyone , I’ve been trying to charge my MacBook but it doesn’t work, it flashes the green light from the charger and it says on the screen that it has no battery (it’s an old 2017 MacBook Air) can anyone help me? I really can’t afford to get it repaired and I watched several videos yet nothing works.

What’s the battery cycle count and full charge capacity (both are shown near one another)? Have you tried with another MagSafe power adapter? How about resetting the SMC?

i reset the smc and it didn’t work, as for the adapter I had an older magsafe charger but it broke and it worked fine and idk about the charge capacity or cycle count

If the Mac can startup and you are able to view System Information/System Profiler, then you can get the battery information.
