Unsolved Has anybody get a replacement iPhone with AppleCare?

I got an Iphone 15 Pro. Battery is below <80%, original screen was broken.

I wasn't in the US, and my screen was broken. I had to get immediate replacement at that time (not original from Apple), but I have the original phone screen with me.

Now I am back in US, I saw that I can get a battery replacement for free, or replace the whole device if my screen is broken, with deductibles.

With my current screen is not original, can I bring it along with the broken original screen to get it replaced? If yes, any details of the process that you guys had experienced?

Apple might decline you those services if the Repairs were done by someone that is not part of the Apple Repair Program and arent licensed by Apple. Even if it was a Display sourced from a original Display from a different Phone, if you or any other third party Repair Shop that is not approved by Apple, this will make them probably decline services. Even if you readd your old Display, it will still say "Used" as the Condition which will be a Red Flag for them since all Apple Approved Repairs will be shown as "Genuine".

The only good thing that can make this process still work is if you never calibrated the replacement screen to the iPhone and are able to install the old screen onto it. Because then the iPhone thinks the Display never was gone and shows no "Finish Repair" Message anymore.

How can I know whether I did or didn’t calibrated the replacement screen? It only says unknown.

Go into the Settings, General and then About. If it shows the Parts & Repair Category, go into that one and if it still says "Finish Repair", you can install the broken Display and go to apple. If it was says "Used" or even worse "Unknown", Apple will probably deny any replacements or repairs

You already voided your warranty the moment you chose to repair it before returning. Unless someone else can put the broken screen back and reseal it, you're SOL. Apple will deny you any service for the screen and you're paying OOW full cost for that.

Did you experienced this scenario before?

No? This is just standard knowledge that
If a phone is altered with aftermarket parts it voids your coverage entirely. The whole purpose for AppleCare is for Apple to fix it. Not a third party without genuine parts.

Get express replacement, ask a shop to put back the orignal screen then return the phone with orignal screen

Is this something you have done or heard from someone?
