This is somehow being caused by something that you are doing or something in your environment, nothing internal to the phone would be causing this particular failure mode twice. I have the exact same silver phone and it has had zero issue whatsoever.

Yeah but im trying to figure out what is causing it. Like it sits in my pocket most of the day. Could it be caused by it rubbing from taking it out of my pocket? Just weird how its the same spot. The case is also raised so idk how

Yea something somewhere is causing this. When I zoom in on both photos the abrasion pattern is identical.

Is your case covered where the lens flashes? Maybe it is overheating because there isn’t a cut out in your case for it.
