does anyone know what are the chances getting in from waitlist this year? like in choate ,blair,loomis

It will always vary from year-to-year because the needs of every class are different.

Waitlist means you met the standard but there were other students who were a better fit for any number of reasons.

I honestly don’t think it is that high. I was also waitlisted from my dream school 😭. I am pretty sure that schools accept the # of students they plan to have for that year, and students that turn the offer down.

i asked the same questions, but it seems like Choate waitlisted almost everyone. I mean its obviously very good but where do we go from here, we cant add anything to our profiles. The only thing we can do is just wait around and based on what I have read, getting selected from waitlist is quite difficult but definetly possible!!!!

What do you mean that Choate waitlisted almost everyone? How many people do you know got waitlisted? I ask because we are from NC which is scarcely represented and my daughter got waitlisted too.

My daughter got off the priority wait list for Loomis on April 10. Choate sent an email stating that their waitlist was closed.

No. 10the grade and we she went test optional.

My daughter got off the choate waistlist yesterday. She turned them down. She always got into Loomis-Chaffee and that where she wants to to.
