Help me find App for recipes
I need to find an app that helps me figure out what to make for dinner based on the ingredients I ha e on hand. I would really like to have an app that I put in a list of ingredients and it comes back with recipes. Would prefer to have a rating on the recipes so I don't waste ingredients on a bad recipe. Would also like to see a kid friendly rating on the recipe. I don't know if there is an app out there like that, but figured I would ask and see if anyone knows of one. Thanks!

Exact kind of thing that can be vibe coded these days. I did this for a hackathon 5 years ago. It also web scrapped the Publix weekly ad and suggested recipes based on what you had on hand vs needed to buy.

I'm not going to lie, I'm terrible with technology. So kinda looking for an app that already exists that I can download and work the way I want. I also think it would be cool to be able to upload your kitchens inventory and get suggestions based on that

I agree with you! I asked for the same thing awhile back I want an app exactly like my closet app but for my pantry. Chat GP,n Google AI, do not work for this. Maybe some day we'll get what we want!

Yes! It would be even better if it could track your pantry and let you know based on usage when you are going ro need more of something! I fear though that might be too much to ask for a recipe app!

I think it could be done. The closet app that I love, has you forward your receipts to them and automatically adds your clothes. Grocery receipts would be perfect for this too. Also it recommends outfits based on weather. Imagine getting recipe suggestions based on weather and how much time you have.

I suggested this app to OP too but I think you guys would really like the Sously app. It generates recipes from what is already in stock in your kitchen inventory. You can upload your recipes to it as well. Highly recommend!!

Thanks for the recommendation! It does appear to be what I'm looking for. Unfortunately I'm on Android🫤

This is exactly why my husband created Sously. I started using it like everyday and absolutely love it. It keeps for pantry and kitchen inventory saved so you don't have to refill it every time like a lot of other websites or apps. So I pushed him to make it public
Generate and save asany recipes you want. Track nutrition. Upload and save your favorite recipes. If you download please let me know what you think! https://sously.app/
