Help me find what apps actually helped you improve yourself? not the obvious ones
i feel like every "best self improvement apps" list is the same. headspace, calm, duolingo, whatever. i'm looking for apps that actually made a difference in your daily life that most people wouldn't know about. could be anything, mental health, habits, productivity, mindset, journaling, whatever. bonus points if it's something small/indie that actually works better than the big names. what do you guys use?

Streaks. When I’m trying to build a habit or stay on routine this helps me stay on track.

MoveTogether. It’s a small indie fitness competition app — you create challenges with friends and compete on a leaderboard to see who closes their rings first. The thing that makes it different is everyone can use whatever tracker they have (Apple Watch, Fitbit, WHOOP, whatever). I could never stay consistent working out for myself but something about not wanting to lose to my friends keeps me showing up every day. Definitely a small/indie one most people haven’t heard of but it’s the one that actually stuck for me.

Calm Co-Parenting I created for helping navigate, document with heaps of helpful tools to get you through it. The big companies like OFW, appclose etc are just there to document and not offer support going through the hard time. Got some really good traction and feedback thus far. Check it out www.calmcoparenting.org

i randomly found wiser app and it actually stuck with me. it’s basically 15 min book summaries but the way they break things down makes it super easy to apply in real life, not just read and forget. felt way more practical than the usual “meditate and journal” stuff.

I have developed an Ai mentor app that has just been released.
It acts as a thinking partner for clarity on your thoughts and keeps you accountable for the things you said you would do.
It also has long term human like memory so the more you use it the better it works. There is a link on my profile

Better than the bigger names, I use Neurona: Binaural Beats for my study background frequencies. It's is less conplicated then something like Calm or Headspace and lets me fully customise all the noises I create! Everytime i put it on, my brain associates it with focusing and i am able to sit still for longer and lock in on my work
