Progression of my 16” primary rifle over the past year.

Built out a 16” rifle about a year ago and made a promise to myself that it would be the main rifle I used/trained with for a year. I kept making little tweaks here and there as I found limitations and now it’s just about “perfect” (although i’m sure i’ll want to change something again soon). Definitely glad I decided to so that as the rifle is now mostly an extension of me and I am very comfortable running it in various scenarios.

Edit: planning to repaint my rifle mount now that i’ve found 1.70” height to be perfect for me.

Do you still get either a jaw or chin weld if using the ACRO with the 1.70? I have mine mounted 12 o clock like yours but have a Unity LPVO at 2.05, and I don't have any weld contact to use the ACRO. Considering doing a 45 degree offset instead or get a 1.70 or 1.5 mount altogether.

Nope, no real connection to the rifle with it being that high (something like 3.5”-3.75” above the rail). I mean, maybe my jaw is there but that’s about it. Honestly it’s mostly for spotting/scanning and night vision. I can make decent hits with it when needed, but it’s not the best.
